My mom said that when our basement was remodeled during my early childhood, the previous owners put ungodly amounts of glue on the floor to secure the linoleum. She and the contractor my parents hired for the remodel spent days chipping away at the glue with razor knives and scrapers to get to the subfloor so that tile could be laid. This series is cool. It’s nice seeing a refurbish/glow-up that tackles an affordable home (e.g., 60s, 70s, 80s tract), not a century home or a builder’s model from two years ago where we’re ripping out the kitchen for no discernible reason other than content generation.

Great transformation, great rug. I'm sure you'll never read this, and if you do you'll tell me it's none of my business and to suck it, but my soul is screaming to tell you this. I think setting your curtains higher, like nearly at the ceiling, and letting them graze the floor, would upgrade your spaces from a vast improvement to gorgeous. Just an opinion, subjective, and made with love. Keep up the good work. You're inspiring me to clean my house and be a better person every week.
@jennacallahan1Ай бұрын
Maybe he doesn’t like the look of that. I don’t, I think it looks weird as crap to have curtains way higher than a window. I just don’t see how it’s “better”. I think that may be why a lot of us like watching Mack because he isn’t following trends, just doing what he likes. Which makes him relatable. 😊

It isn't merely a trend, the suggestion to raise the height of curtain rails above the window. When he took the curtains down I had a moment of hope that's what he was planning to do.
