I've always saw the Ryan Atwood character as the main character of The O.C. and the ending of the series just confirms that with all the flashbacks from the pilot and how much memories he's had being with the Cohens and fast forward to him being a working adult, so it always bothered me how season four felt like a spinoff of the show because of how often Ryan would be in fights from Oliver to Luke, to Trey and Volchek, and then like I don't think he fought much after his whole "fight club" period in grieving the lost of Marissa, but when he came back it was so weird seeing a Ryan that wasn't doing fights anymore. It didn't feel like season four was the same universe as the previous seasons. He was basically just working at a Mexican restaurant all the time and they just rushed him through college at the very end.

He makes up for that now, I've seen him walking through the streets of LA just punching random people. I always felt the main character the show was based around was the hooker in Vegas

For some reason, that scene where you see Willa's character coming out of the plane from Berkeley and visiting home for the holidays, and she's taken the place of her late sister who got accepted to the university there but died after HS graduation, and Ryan is longing to meet Marissa just one more time even if it's in "alt world" just hits like a ton of bricks with that sober music.

😍😍😍Willa was amazing on this episode!❤️ Loved the world you guys do in TheOC, and my favorite scene in this episode was Julie's moment～ mother daughter of Julie Cooper and Mini Cooper, Julie Gordon scene, Julie Taylor scene... Summer scene, and Julie Frank scene～ so cute and very sweet, loved to seeing them together, more story in...and I loved the bloopers too. The Diner scene and nearly ending scene in this Valentines episode in TheOC～ such a beautiful sweet moment and I wanna to say, Mindy look so pretty stunning, her hairdo and earrings is just everything, Love it!! Oh I love Quince, Thanks for your highly recommended in this episode, this adorable cozy sweater are my favorite to wear for the winter season, so comfy lovely. Its so weird somebody came up to her screaming "YOU KILLED JOHNNY". Weren't most of us happy his character left? lmao Had Marissa lived, she totally would have become a therapist or like a counsellor for teenagers. I could see Kaitlin as she got older, getting into drugs or drinking and Marissa having to take on the roll like Ryan did with her. It would be a cute full circle moment for the character of Marissa. Rachel and Melinda should do Gossip Girl next where you interview the cast from that. Or a the very least an episode or two devoted to the on screen drama that went on that they keep glossing over. I mean Mischa said so much stuff on the OC and Rachel was like "I would love to ask about her side of it" they had her on and didn't even touch on it. I mean I guess Mischa was probably giving a lot of pushback and maybe said she wouldn't talk about it. But the actor who played Volchuck said the kids on the show were the worst. Also Ben in interviews is always so weird about Mischa lmao Like when the OC ended. There were so many interviews where it just seemed like he didn't like her. ALSO why hasn't he been on here? Like no offence Ben but nobody would know you without this show, you can at least appear and take an hour out of your day. OR OMG hopefully they do this for the finale but have all the actors together again, like try to get everyone you can and just have a huge talk about how it ended, what they would have liked to see for season 5 AND IF THEY WILL JUST DO A REVIVAL!?! Literally I think everyone has said they would minus ben. Even Adam recently said he would. I mean heck even Mischa is down and she was so not about it before. To answer Rachel's thought. Yes you and Adam already broke up at this point in real life. I remember cause all the fans went nuts and your characters in season 4 almost never kiss

they posted asking for questions for Ben so I think he’s later on in the season. He’s also starred on two shows since, major roles so I’m sure he’s been busy. A revival seems very far fetched for me, wouldn’t want to touch the beauty we already got. I also think it wouldn’t do good bringing up such negative things, they’re probably healing their young selves and moving forwards with positivity rather than focusing on the negative

@@briannalouise1600 The OC was wonderful but calling it a ‘beauty’ is far fetched haha. Season 3 was a mess and killing Marissa basically killed the show. Season 4 was fun but didn’t really fit in with the others. All in all a reboot would be amazing! One can hope 🙏

The OC viewership was obviously very high for season one, but it had been steadily dropping by season three, and even more so for season four which didn't even get a full season with so few episodes, I feel like the show shortchanged Willa's time there and she carried season four as best as she could despite how the "core four" was reworked. It would have been nice to end the series with a bang on a high note with high viewership.

I didn't like Caitlyn's character at all, she wasn't a good sister to Marissa, she was never seen to suffer from Marissa's absence and she didn't contribute anything to the 3rd and 4th seasons. I don't see the scenes in which Willa appears, I advance them all!
