Just hit me. When I was skating in the early aughts everybody in my crew were entering contests and trying super hars to get sponsored. Then we met a group of guys in CA near Santa Cruz. None of them were sponsored or wanted to be sponsored. But they absolutely ripped every terrain. Pools, street, mini ramp and some skated vert too. I realized they were in it for all the right reasons and I was skating for all the wrong reasons. Casey absolutely rips everything he rides. He's 100% in it because he loves it all. You watch the videos and you can see that pure love rubbing off around him. People are stoked to meet him for the first time and guys are stoked seeing him out riding again. I'm so happy he got his own model. He's so deserving of it. The graphics are just perfect too. It's like a tattoo, so personal and tells his story so well. Casey, keep up the hard work man, You're in this for all the right reasons and your heart is pure. There's nothing better than to see these accomplishments that are a long time coming.

Tonio and Verito are opening The Surf Cafe del Morro on their roof deck in 3 weeks..I would love to have you and Taylor be special guest members of Kraken as part f the Cafe opening. It would be awesome for the Cafe, Kraken and I think you. I also think a road tour with a select few other Kraken. Tonio said how about to Abre Ojos! This would be cross cultural, cross sport...it would build an audience for you in Baja! A very cool structure kinda Indo/Yucatan chic. and guess who will be the coffee roaster...The dream is really...I have some ideas to connectYou, theSurf Cafe and Kraken Bodyboarders.. I have been shooting them to make a film for them. We have had insane waves and some very weird shit in the sky...12 flying things appeared at sunset and began to draw an image...I could never see an airplane in the vapor trails! and then 1st time ever...a giant spiral cloud formed right over the top of the Vortex ! A very cool structure kinda Into/Yucatan chic. and guess who will be the coffee roaster...The dream is real! We are planning to official rename Scotty Bs toCafes. So the surf report would include that name as well as google maps.
