Jinx has its incredible ability to give you camp but then also pull it back to a sense of realism so there’s a really is a tense feel of chaos in the performance and it’s magic. If you ever get the chance to see her live, I highly recommend it.

The forcing of "inclusion" in the show has made it much worse. Almost every die hard doctor who fan dont have problems with characters that are lgbt like Captain Jack who was adored by fans. Also, black characters such as mickey and martha were incredible in the show. Its just that when a character is brought purely for the reason to make it more inclusive makes the show go downhill. Its poor casting and writing and its mostly Russel's fault and not that much on the actors.

Lol Jinkx is a good actor and we could disagree on that, but how did you reach the conclusion as to the motive for Jinkx's inclusion? It is always..."interesting" that "inclusivity" is only brought up when someone dislikes an actor or character. For example: no one ever says someone rendered a good performance because they are gay or black, but the moment criticism is flung, sexuality, sex or race is inevitably blamed. My point: stop assuming intent because it's dumb.

We went from Daleks and Cybermen into this…… I’ve nothing against drag queens or whatever, but when a show has to push a message or an agenda over quality story writing, that’s when I can’t be asked to devote an hour each week to keep up with it I’m fine if you want to run with “the giggle”, but pushing all this whole “pro-noun, white men are evil, women are better than men, trans is better than cis” BS just made the show itself toxic where each week instead of highlighting all the things that make the various people of the human race fantastic, it instead divides people into “you’re either with us or against us, and if you’re against us we’ll get the writers and cast to tell you to fudge off” Until they get a new doctor or a new writer, I’m going to avoid this, which is a real shame

Whoever is writing this new season, needs a new job, im sorry but the two episodes so far have been awful, you've basically killed Dr Who and I know im not alone with this thought. If anyone thinks I have a problem with the LGBTQ community then you are sadly mistaken, Dr Who has always been open to everyone and with forward thinking but this latest season is just awful, terrible writing and feels like the agenda is being forced, funnily enough happened after the fact that Disney got their claws into the streaming rights.

[count] disapproving. : a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. : a bigoted person. especially : a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group (such as a racial or religious group)" So essentially that's why it can be percieved as a bigoted opinion from some people. Because people arent focusing on anything to do with the production of the episode. Just that there is this character there.

@@kuggacouragegx6093 The personality felt to close to David tenat, certain things just felt too forced. Companion is just another yes man. Too musical for my personal tastes without actual good music. I am gay, but to me it feels like they're trying to make that (lgbtq+) be the center piece of the show instead of giving good writing or an actual personality. I really felt let down after watching it. I was excited for the new doctor. I thought it would maybe step away from tennets personality, but they decided to not do that in my opinion. I thought the same of the lady doctor. She was too much like david tennet. Then to top it all off, I had no idea that other people were having grievances with the new doctor, and when I looked up their responses, I found them dishonest, reductive, and repugnant. I'm not straight, nor white, nor am I male, but they just cast everyone who had criticism as a bigot who needed to stop watching. I found that super distasteful.
