The Cast of Freeform’s The Bold Type Talks New Season, Favorite Plots, & Aisha’s Unexpected Hobby

As Freeform’s 'The Bold Type' hits its summer stride, we chatted (virtually of course) with Aisha Dee, Katie Stevens and Meghann Fahy to see how they’ve been spending their time in quarantine and to talk about their ever empowering storylines. Sutton Brady, Kat Edison and Jane Sloan have made big strides in the last season. Kat has finally left Scarlet, Sutton is married, pregnant and a stylist, and Brady has gone through a double mastectomy. Even though this show wraps storylines up in nice bows, it doesn’t shy away from real and tough situations, and the cast thinks that is a perfect balance to strike. Finally, we asked the cast what they’d been up to and in addition to finding space for joy, they’ve been protesting and Aisha has been finding solace in her ukulele and drums.
