I saw this as an 9 yr old kid. It was a 2 night movie of the week and me and my family were at our trailer in WV. Where this trailer was, was in a 10 acre lot , woods all around in the middle of nowhere. It just made it that much scarier to me and the movie didn't need any help!!! Terrified me but became my favorite horror movie ever! I own the 79' and watch it at least once a month. Can't wait to see the 2023 if they ever release it!!!!!

Remember watching this when I was 12. Had to sleep with the light on for months, thinking Barlow was under my bed. What a great (scary) movie that was with a cast of great actors!!! Could have not found a greater actor to play Barlow. Reggie Nalder was phenomenal!!

@@ericcartman7361 not sure brother! But it won’t be like the original that’s for sure. Reggie Nalder had a little bit of a disfigured face from burns, which gave him that distinctive look to play Barlow!!! He was awesome !

A bit of an anomaly that a made-for-TV movies had great make-up effects, and was so well-remembered. Not really, the cast had fantastic character actors, and the director was no joke. Who was the screenplay writer, beyond King's story? Nice upload Thanks!!

There were never any behind the scenes footage shot or cast interviews I only heard the blu- ray commentary with Tobe hooper who gave a bit of insight making the movie .

Scared witless as a kid but now I'm old and I've seen pics of dear old Reggie mid make up it kinda makes me laugh. He's excellent as Barlow though and added some nice touches to the character reminds me of Nick Castle who played the Shape in Halloween. Small physical gestures which gives an otherwise characterless villain character!

It is not " Cully Sawyer ". Humanity are such dumbos. It is Barney Cullen. He is " Boom Boom Barney " because he housed a 12 gauge shotgun in his garage. So that his first name is BARNEY. And she calls him " Cully ", which is from the logistics company name of " Cullen - Sawyer " seen on his truck. He is thus the Cullen part of it. So he is Barney Cullen.
