I saw the screening last week and when I say I haven’t laughed that hard at a movie in years! I’m so glad I saw it at a black theatre otherwise I never would’ve gotten the chance to sing the O’Reilly’s auto parts jingle with a room full of strangers 😭This is definitely the movie of the summer can’t wait to see it again 👏🏾🌟

My only complaint is that the lightskin guy is married to a yt woman in the movie when we do in fact date black women as well. My girlfriend is a beautiful darkskin haitian woman and im a lightskin dominican guy like you gotta show black love from our perspective as well thats all. Other wise i hope the movie is successful in theaters.🙏🏽

In response to the comment made beginning at the 25:30 mark, I think that in addition to exposure or being excluded, I believe that there were some things Black people did not do because our safety was constantly in jeopardy. We had enough risk in life so to seek out activities that had a high safety risk just did not make sense.
