Classic western music. Ain’t heard this one in years. Love it. Cutting them proud can sometimes be worse than not cutting them at all.

Met Glenn back about 1970, as a guest, I stayed at his ranch, in Mountain View, Arkansas. I didn't know that he was a famous cowboy folk singer. He was really kind to allow us to stay. My wife and I slept on his front porch. Others slept in the bunk house, occupied by a goat. It was a real trip.

I meant to say it was during the Mountain View Folk Festival. About 10 or so of us stayed at Glenn's ranch.

Glenn knows a lot of the old tunes, he has performed for many years at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas and he still travels from time to time. He is quite a unique character and I'm proud of the fact that we have been friends for many years... Thanks for stoppin' by : ) Mychal E. (Mikey) Thompson

AWESOME.. I LIKE THE WAY GLENN DOES IT AND YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IT.. THIS IS REALLY ONE OF THE OLD 19TH CENTURY SONGS.. I DON'T KNOW WHEN THIS ONE ARRIVED BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY ON THE CASTRATION.. ANYWAY.. IF FOUND A COWBOY BOOK WAREHOUSE IN BASIN, WYOMING AND FOUND SEVERAL ORIGINAL MUSIC BOOKS WITH MUSIC TO THE WORDS.. I KICKED MY BUTT FOR NOT BUYING ONE OF THEM.. AND I AM SO GLAD TO SEE THIS HERE ON YOU TUBE.

Hey Todd! Are you kin to Frances? You can find Glenn singing that song on the Max Hunter Folksong collection, and more stuff on Joe Hilderbrand on the John Quincy Wolf Collection. Give 'em a google!
