Great film as always! Some serious fish being caught 🎣💪🏻 I tried looking for the tackle company advertised at the beginning of the film, couldnt find anything. Great pics at the end too. Some nice carp in the mix too. 👍🏻

What reels are youse using it's so hard to find good info on what wells catfish gear you should be getting

We use the Penn SpinFisher VII 8500 LL There are other reels out there that will do the job but the SpinFishers are generally regarded as the best readily available reels for catting at this current time

Hi Tom, The weigh sling / mat is still being tweaked to get it just right but as soon as it's available we'll have something up on this channel going through it all and the features it has. There will be a new predator tackle company launching in the coming months under the name of PECZ that the mat will be branded under so it's worth keeping an eye out on the social media channels of theirs too so you're up to date as and when things happen

Great video, I’m on Woods in September this year. When targeting the cats do they prefer open water gravel spots?

I might be a little jealous 😅 A lot of ours came quite close in fishing accross to the far margins on either side from the double swims or over the back of the drop off from the single swims on the end. We had a handful of fish from open water ares but not as many. The only thing I will say though is that some of them were nesting up and spawning while we were there so this could've affected where they were holding up

For the boilie and pellet fishing, the venue rules dictated that we were limited to a size 1. Many thanks for the sub, it's always much appreciated

What band is it you are using on the rig also how is it attached?

That's something we've been working on for a little while now. Finding the right elastic that doesnt snap too easily or break down too quickly has been the most difficult thing but I think we've found the right one now. Just a little bit more testing and refining to do and we should have something ready for release at the start of next year 🤞🏻 If you keep an eye out on here or give PECZ Predator Tackle a follow on social media then you'll be able to see what's coming as we get nearer to the time.

@@SpecialistAnglingMedia nice one will do that. I was on woods lake in may . One of our party had that albino cat was 129 then. He was on carp gear and ended up in the boat for an hour

The big camo mat / sling is a prototype that's currently being tweaked and worked on. It should hopefully be on sale in the not too distant future, all being well
