Anglers Paradise : Octopussy Lake - Catching Huge Catfish

The Octopussy Lake is one of the lakes of the holiday complex at Anglers Paradise I have never fished, with me preferring in the past to wrestle with 20lb Catfish from the Easy Access Lake in all previous years. But with the Easy Access Lake now housing no Catfish at all, and the NEW Catfish Lake still being dug and filled, The best chance of hooking one now falls to the slightly harder Octopussy Lake.
An Everyday Angler and myself head down for the day, armed with pellets, boilies and a tub of wriggling worms to try and hook and tame these hard fishing leviathans of creatures...

Hi, I had quite a surprise watching this video. I must live near you, as I live in Briz. Been watching your local videos, seeing you catch small stuff. I have never caught a cat myself, but to my surprise to catch cats to that size was great to watch. I'm the opposite to you as I love to travel when fishing. The Wye and the Dorset Stour are two of my favourites.

Oh, I do love to travel, but the problem is I dont drive, so I have to rely on trains, and fishing venues close to railway stations. Cuts down the field a little. But being in Bristol is great as there are a high number of places to fish near to railway stations or reachable by bus 😊👍
