I've always loved this sketch. It makes me laugh so hard every time and it's such a brilliant and accurate satire of the main characters in TV crime series such as Silent Witness, Taggart and Inspector Morse. Catherine Tate is such a master at observational comedy.

But other than that, every character that Catherine plays is pretty unique and some of her characters are parodies. Like "The Enigmatic Cop" is meant to be a parody of those brillant TV detectives who have seen it all and talk in patronizing riddles. There's always that one type of character in CSI and NCSI.
