The Catholic Challenge - Part 2 | 3ABN Worship Hour

In this 3ABN-produced program, Kenny Shelton continues the review of the Catholic Mirror article dated September 23, 1893. Using the Bible and the Bible only, this Catholic publication lays out solid evidence from Scripture that Jesus and His followers always kept the Sabbath, and that the Bible provides no support for Sunday sacredness. They credit the transference of worship from the Sabbath to Sunday as the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church, stating that Catholics yield their judgment implicitly to the voice of church leaders. Their challenge laid out to Protestants-who claim to recognize no other teacher than the voice of God-is to explain why they follow the Mother Church in keeping Sunday as sacred instead of following God’s divine command to keep the Sabbath as holy.

A scripture that really cemented the Sabbath being on Saturday for me is Mark 16:1-2 "Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen." Everyone agrees Jesus rose on Sunday and it says here that the Sabbath is past and is now the first day of the week. I really enjoyed this video, its the first time I've watched this speaker. Now to find part 1. 😊

Anyone who preaches the truth of the Bible, in opposition to man-made tradition, is a reformer. Learn from this man, and others who are preaching the much needed truths for the time in which we are living. Then share the truth, and you will also be a reformer. If you are too shy to share what you know, then advertise 3ABN, and support it. Give literature to those who are eager to know why society is collapsing. But don't cast your pearls before swine. You don't have time to waste on those show a definite opposition to the things of God. You'll find plenty to do among those who want to know the truth. You notice that 3ABN calls to all sinners to repent. But 3ABN only sends literature to those want it. They invite, but they don't force.

He quoted from Catholic quotations, and gave the names of publications, If you read your Bible, you know that the seventh day of the week is the Sabbath. If you know history, you know about the change of the Sabbath to SUNday by Rome. In vain they do WORSHIP ME, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7 Most of Protestantism united with the Papacy in 2017. Most of Protestantism has adopted many of the Catholic doctrines, as Pastor Kenny Shelton. Unfortunately, most Protestants would rather remain asleep and in ignorance. That’s why we are called the Church of Laodicea.

@@dianechapmanbettyboop I only heard him name 1 publication from the 1890s (I forgot the name) so it is probably not practical to get a copy. I was baptised into the SDA church almost 50 years ago so I fully agree with his message but I find that some people like to see the original evidence before making major changes in their belief.
