I attended Mass with Fr. Lauder many times. In this video, Fr. Lauder discusses two Catholic novels which treat Catholicism in a favorable way: Brighton Rock, by Graham Greene; Faith, Sex, and Mystery, by Richard Gilman.

A great Catholic romance novel is "Mirusia" by Monika Barbara Potocki. Both protagonists are Catholic, there is no sex or innuendo, and a really great, realistic Confession is the climax of the book!

Why arent there more authors writing good Catholic based novels? No better yet, why aren't you posting these novels? I have the hardest time trying to find solid Catholic fiction. Mainstream media suppresses it.
