I grew up Catholic. I was so unbelievably Catholic that I would be on my knees every night as a child saying the rosary and then all I wanted to do was be a priest. Ended up getting a four year degree for the sole purpose that it was required by the seminary I wanted to join. Spent a year and a half in said seminary and then realized I was no longer Catholic. That was a long time ago but I have never ever stopped thinking that religion is a good thing even if it isn't for me.

That is because you realized what you were taught was a lie. The Bible says that praying should not be "vain repetitions" and you faithfully recite your rosary. It says to have no idols before God and the church is full of them The pope abolished the 4th Commandment and implemented his SUNday to slide in his pagan sun worship. It's happening again under the guise of "Climate Change." It's disguised sun worship, worshipping the Creation rather than the Creator.

Muslims should read Bible too, and understand it in the light of Quran. It will help us to understand more about Abrahmic tradition and do ecumenical dialogue with our Jewish-Christians brothers. It will also help us to combat Islamist extremists too, they have destroyed my country Pakistan. We Muslims have done the same bad things which ancient Israelite did to each other and to other people. We Muslims are similar to whatever Christians and Jews were and are and should study about our religious predecessors.

A number of ways pointing out how this "just can't be". Anything edited by Donald Senior should be quickly tossed aside. A new Catholic will soon become agnostic after reading this.

@@isaacromero3475 Doesn't matter who appointed him. Read up on what Senior actually writes. We both know that liberal Catholics have been appointed by conservative popes into positions of authority. I have doubts on whether Senior actually believes the full teachings of the Catholic Church - this is not uncommon among so-called scripture scholars who are more worried about being accepted by academia rather than the faithful. As I said, do some reading and you'll see. Read Matthew 16 and what he says about Peter, for example.

It's a liberal critical one. I dont like it at all. It has very doubtful notes. It has notes that doubt the miracles and things like that. I think these study notes are horrible. I dont agree with his opinion of this Bible. God bless him but I trust the Holy Catholic Church that Jesus founded. I am willing to read the notes but why would I trust some atheist comments or non believer comments. And unlike what this video says the manuscripts do say Gospel according to Mathew Mark Luke and John on each of those gospel manuscripts. So their are lies in the scholarly world being passed around that land themselves in these study notes.

Paul said " If anyone preaches any other gospel than the one we have preached to you, even if he be an angel from heaven, let him be accursed." The catholic church preaches such a different gospel. Mary as a Queen, a trinity, calling men " father" not obeying God's commandment against graven images. The catholic bible teaches another gospel and is accursed as Paul warned.
