Thank you! Horrifying ending. That AH male lead did not deserve any love from the daughter or the female lead, both of whom he abused throughout the drama. Either he nor his mother deserve anything from them. The female lead should have walked away from him, protecting herself and her daughter from this arrogant abusive man. He hasn’t changed. He hasn’t suffered rly become a decent man. I can only hope the female lead is only pretending to forgive him so that she can get her just revenge later and hopefully inherit his wealth while he and his mother are out in prison.

So when the SFL kidnapped RanRan and missing (dead)everyone blamed it on FL including herself that’s why she was going crazy. She was supposedly sent to prison but ML protected her and sent her to mental institution instead. Throughout the years ML didn’t visit her because he had car accident and was in Coma but when he woke up years had passed. When FL died and the daughter was sent home, SFL also brought her daughter and taught her to lied to ML that’s why he was so confused to which one was his real daughter because he never met his real daughter. The mother in law believed all SFL’s scheming lies because it seems realistic. This drama was like a horrible nightmare from beginning to end

He didn't have to follow his heart. The FL lead left a phone with pictures of the child since she was born. How on earth then did he not know what she looked like? Even the screensaver on the phone was a picture of his daughter and her mother. He had the phone in his possession, so he had no excuse for not recognizing his own child. This drama is offensively stupid. The male lead is an arrogant controlling monster who locks his wife up against her will in a mental hospital (and pretends that he’s doing it for her own good) and then Abandons her there for 3-4 years without ever visiting her. When his wife is accused of murder, he and his whole family do zero investigating despite their wealth and power. And then years later, he discovers the truth about the daughter that was born while he abandoned his wife in a mental hospital - and is still too stupid to figure out who she is. The man is brain dead or just an arrogant psychopath. The fact that he has the audacity to claim that he loves them and “can’t live without them” is just a lie. He lived fine without his wife, while she was in a mental hospital and he didn’t visit her even once! 😂😂😂 why does he bother to lie and pretend he loves them?

ML: Zhang Peibao This is the second version of the same storyline. The original did not have the video diaries of her(FL) time spent in imprisonment in the mental hospital.. Surprisingly in both the versions, I was mystified over the fact that the ML never knew that his wife was pregnant and delivered a baby girl in the hospital. The child actress in the first version gave an excellent performance, with a maturity beyond her years(Age).Not to mention the FL in the first version , though a good actress, who usually played supporting or vamp roles, somehow does not have the aura or the profile of a lead actress.First version was more emotionally charged

The ending is like a revisionist fantasy where they just try to make up reasons why it was ok for him to imprison and abandon her in a mental hospital and never once visit. Why it was ok for him to ignore the birth of his daughter. Where it was acceptable that he never once spoke with her doctors. 😂😂😂 Notice how when he showed up because she was “dead” that he didn’t express being sorry. He was just angry that she died without his permission. His actions were not those of a loving husband. Never were. Also, these writers know NOTHING about mental health issues.

If you are goin to watch this drama, it's best to go in thinking that there are two endings. If you want the ML to get his, I have to STRONGLY advise to stop a 2:15:15 and forget about the rest.
