Yes aswell as his friendliness socialness and playing wholesome old school games with his friends and not just sitting on some tablet inside or playing video games he's actually out doing fun stuff and that makes me happy that's some stuff that we did as kids, him talking about his favorite games and stuff reminds me of my childhood before technology was so big everywhere. My teenage years consisted of listening to the modem startup sounds and not being able to be on the phone on the internet was in use LOL. But those were the times in my opinion and this kid is living his best life as a child! I pray nothing ever take that away from him. I feel like he is being taught all the right things and has really good parents and obviously a wonderful grandma who adores him. God bless this child.

I always assumed the latter was more like “bless his heart because I feel sorry for him for being such an idiot.” And in the case of asses, it’s similar to the phrase “God love him, cuz He’s the only one that can.” Whereas “bless his heart” to mean “that’s so sweet” is a little more literal. Something akin to blessing someone.

When I was a kid, I loved grainy, cheap local tv channels. The ones that probably only had 2-3 people watching at any given time. In Houston, it was channel 20 for a while. It only had local programming, like footage of bingo games at a senior center. Or re runs of 1970s tv shows that no one remembers. Or a really sleepy-eyed interview with some guy who just wanted to talk about his weedwacker.
