You are a blessing. I love your professionalism and your explanations which help enrich the scriptures. Thank you for mentioning SDA and their law focus especially the sabbath. Christ's death represented a new covenant one that he kept by himself... similar to that of Abrahams when Israel agreed to the old covenant they broke it virtually straight away. Showing how when we are given the exact measure in which to live by we break it and or abuse it. Hebrews is the key book that all SDA need to read for themselves and not by their sabbath school leaders spinning their own doctrine.

Plucking heads of grain on the Sabbath was never wrong or sin. as many Unlearned in the Word claim. Messiah Matt 4:4, Paul 2 Timothy 3:16 Both teach the O.T. is Scripture today. Deut 23:25 “When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour's standing corn.

“And he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. And while they still disbelieved for joy and were marveling, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” and he took it and ate before them. Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭38‬-‭41‬, ‭43‬-‭49‬ ‭ Thomas wasn’t the only one who needed proof that messiah had risen. All of them needed proof

Hi Simon. Other covenant formulas found in Scripture include: "I will be your God, and you will be my people" (e.g., Gen. 17:7-8, Exod. 6:7, Lev. 26:12, Jer. 31:33, Ezek. 36:28). "This is the blood of the covenant" (e.g., Exod. 24:8, Matt. 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20). "An everlasting covenant" (e.g., Gen. 17:7, 2 Sam. 23:5, Isa. 55:3, Ezek. 37:26). Shalom, RLS

@@TheBiblicalRoots Yes as your first example in Genesis of the Torah of Abraham, "thou" is the people of God, and they must be perfect. And they were until Egypt. The blood covenant also requires we be perfect as Paul and those like him in Philippians, and it is Jesus who perfects those who are sanctified by forgiving past sins as promised by God. We differ most about atonement, as if it was more than baptism, it promises more as we promise not to sin. Romans 7:1-4 explains our oath, especially 7:3. It's all in my Ytube video #18 part 2 'Myths in so-called Christianity'.

He is demonic and teaches a damnable false gospel. That phrase doesn't appear in the Bible, SW. Have you noticed that there are many laws given by God in the Torah that deal with matters of right and wrong (stealing, murder, coveting, etc.)? That's what people mean when they use the phrase "moral law." They're referring to the laws of God that deal with issues of morality. You may have also noticed other commands that deal specifically with civil laws (lending money, marriage, divorce, etc.). There are still other commands that deal with ritual or ceremonial issues (making offerings, ritual cleansing, temple rules, etc.). RLS

Hi, Question here: Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only?????? -James 2:21-24 Thanks

The Torah clearly teaches that its teachings were for all men. Even Christ. Name just one thing that is superior to Judaism. Belief in a man god like the Egyptians did? Na, that's probably not it. Believing the New Testament is superior to the Old Testament is like having a "senior moment" or a "men can have babies moment". It's just not true.

Judaism wasn't monolithic. Jacob whom you call "James" was the then leader of the nazarenes jewish sect and met in SYNAGOGUES James 2:2 directly from Greek or literal standard version. its still Judaism Acts 21:21-24 is for jewish believers (Torah observance) and for Gentiles Acts 21:25 (noahide laws) Acts 15:19-20 "It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. Yes the faith of believing in Jesus is still JUDAISM until it separated by Ignatius and Constantine creating the rem Christianity and separating from JUDAISM making a gentile religion. then persecuting jews. Luther was another one. Your church fathers write about us Nazarenes and and still prove we followed torah. no we are not the same as ebonites. still want more prove the Nazarene sect who followed Jesus is judaism? The talmud hates us: The text survives in two core versions, one being that of the Babylonian Talmud.[27] In 1898 Solomon Schechter, with Israel Abrahams, published a 9-10th century CE version of a Hebrew prayer which had been recovered from the Cairo Geniza,[28][29] and his subsequent findings would revolutionize the study of Jewish liturgy.[30] The peculiarity of this version was that, together with minim, referring to heretics generally, it specifically added a distinct group, NAZARENES.[3] The Genizah actually conserved 86 manuscripts containing six versions of the Birkat haMinim.[31] The Jerusalem Talmud[t] version reads: For the apostates (meshumaddim)[u] let there be no hope, and uproot the kingdom of arrogance (malkhut zadon),[32] speedily and in our days. May the Nazarenes (ha-naẓarim/noṣrim/notzrim)[v][w] and the sectarians (minim) perish as in a moment. Let them be blotted out of the book of life,[x] and not be written together with the righteous. You are praised, O Lord, who subdues the arrogant.... What did Yehoshua(Jesus) say to the nazarenes? and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22 so yes were hated by Constantines new religion. And the rabbinic talmudists. We are a sect of Judaism under Jacob James that was hated and were there BEFORE "christianity" the new western religion.
