How do you interpret this John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

If you want to disparage the SDA you should at least do your do diligence and research from at least Pastors like Dough Batchelor and so forth. Im 68 years old not an idiot i have been a SDA since 1998 and I dout this young man has expirienced or studied as much as you have apparently you are a Professor of theology. Myles may think he has the answers but he can be sincearly mistaken but is up to Jesus to bring him closer to himself. Every man must work out his own salvation I wish i could quote chapter an verse but Im just a laymen what do I know.

My walk has taken me from Catholic to pentecostal to word of faith and SDA has the most biblical light and I thank God for their diligence and for that matter your ministry its good to gave balance wraping it up SDA has continualy exhalted Salvation thru Christ alone and not by the works of the Law

RL Solberg what makes you think Myles is an expert on SDA, his explanation on pre Gen in heaven is skewed I dont know where he got his understanding but I am familiar with the story. His expirience is not what i expirienced. Your explantion of our relationship with the ten commandments is what Ive learned from SDA and as You said if you choose to follow the Sabatth out of love rather than works than thats fine. I noticed you dont address Rev on your channel do you have any knowledge to impart. EGW is a very inspiered writer on alot of subjects but she has never been forced down my throat. Paul aka Saul the Pharisee knew he was a Benjamite, Anna the prophetess who saw Jesus Christ as a baby knew she was of the Tribe of Asher. We knew they were still called Jews and John the Baptist was a Levite and Jesus Christ of Judah. People knew their tribes till probably 70AD with the destruction of the 2nd Temple when Jews were scattered and then the Bar Kochba Revolt.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

I would say that's a lower-case _torah,_ as in the Hebrew word that means "instruction, teaching." Obedience to God is of utmost importance for believers. We are to submit to His authority over our lives. Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). I’m sure you would agree that not every command God has given applies to every person at all times. Some only apply to certain people (i.e., men, women, parents, Levitical priests) or at certain times (i.e., building an ark, gathering manna, while in exile). And I’m sure you would also agree that we are each only expected to keep the commands of God that apply to us. He doesn’t expect us to keep commands that He gave to someone else! The NT expressly teaches that many of the commands given under the Old Covenant Law do not apply to Christians today. (ex. Repeated blood sacrifices for sin are no longer required (Heb 10:18).) We still serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code” (Rom 7:6). And “If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law: (Gal. 5:18). Blessings, Rob

This guy is another one of those nutty professors that never like to comb their hair but in his case a religious one. his only opponent being a Jew, and him trying to keep up the argument "if my New Testament has mistakes, well, so does yours!" As a defense and an offense. I found myself wondering when not an atheist but someone who doesn't believe in theistic religion reads the same mistakes and contradictions etcetera as kosher Jews do in the Christian Bible and find this professor's arguments to be any good.

What are the biblical roots of Christianity. Maybe you should explain that in all simplicity and understanding before decrying the Hebriac roots. Paul was a Hebrew, A Rabbi of the Sanhedrian. Taught at the feet of Gamalia. Jesus is a translieration of the Hebrew Yashusa. Its all about him from Genesis to Revelation. We do not get our righteousness through keeping the Law of Moses or the sacrifices but through the death. buriel and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ (greek)or Yahshua Messiah, (hebrew)7and he poured out his Spirit. That does not do away with the Law.

Thank you for this teaching. I have a question for you regarding fellowship and why its often preached to be in a church building. I have heard preaching regarding fellowship and not to forsake it, and to meet at the church building to fellowship since we should not forsake the fellowship after reading about that and then reading Jesus teaching on building his church and we we will worship in spirit and truth, this could be a 2 part question. So my question is why does fellowship always have to occur in a church building and the only place to be considered the place to fellowship. If Jesus said we are to worship in spirit and truth and to fellowship-cant that be anywhere and why does it have to be in the building and not be looked down upon when we could do in our own home. I hope i got my point across. I often think how we could fellowship, get discipled, worship in spirit and truth and then take it to our community providing the gospel and reach more in each of our communities. Just a thought as I am learning.

Too big of a subject to actually add a comment. The point Yeshua made in His life is He lived out Torah through faith. The first and only one to actually do that in full which is why He was worthy of being the sinless lamb of God. How do you think He was “sinless“? The law was never intended to be a bunch of rules, but an attitude of the heart which if one followed, from the heart, brought blessing and not followed, brought cursing. After the SmackDown of being sent to Babylon and Assyria, the returning Jews thought they would avoid future wrath by creating thousands upon thousands of rules to try and make them follow Torah. They missed the point. And Christians today mostly miss the point by also looking at Torah as a bunch of rules that God set us free from. Imagine that, God setting us free from His own plan that He personally told us would be a blessing if we followed and a curse if we did not? If that’s the case, He must be an imperfect God. But I know better. He is perfect, His word is perfect and that’s why Paul also said, “ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable….” Paul pointed out that the dogs were mutilating the flesh as if the act of doing circumcision was itself the means. Yet Paul himself circumcised Timothy. Was Paul a dog or did he do it as an act of faith? Until one gets that Torah from the heart is through faith in walking as Yeshua walked one cannot experience the full blessing God gave to us. Nobody can force or demand it. And it does not keep one from being saved if one truly has faith in the living Messiah and Savior Jesus Christ, whose real name is Yeshua. It never made sense until about seven years ago in my 40th year since accepting Jesus as my Savior and in the few years before then praying over and over for God to show me His Truth, not man’s truth. You are right in that if people follow Torah as a bunch of rules, then literally, you are no better than the Pharisees and your righteousness will be no better than theirs. But one must pray with an open heart for God to show them truth through His word. If done with sincerity, He will open those eyes and bring about the blessing that He spoke of for those who follow Him in true faith.

RL Solburg Brother. I see your love for the messiah and for the father. Your many videos have exposed a very common issue. Many ppl have an amazing ability to read the scriptures and understand the scriptures. Just as the Pharisees, and modern day Jews, they knew the word by memory. Here is the issue you have exposed. Without the Holy Spirit, it’s just academic knowledge with human reasoning and wisdom. It seems right in your own eyes. Paul also thought so aswell. You constantly speak of the “New Covenant “. According the scripture, the new covenant was made with the house of Israel and the house of Judah and I don’t believe you identify as being a part of either one. There are so many deeper truths found in scripture. It’s apparent that they have been hidden from your understanding and lie beyond you untill further repentance. You will probably not agree with this, and think your understanding is up to par. It is, for those who are lawless. But to those who have the spirit of God, it’s apparent you have much lacking of the mystery written within his word. Good day to you. We pray for you to have your “ Paul on the road to Damascus” encounter with the spirit. Untill then, peace be upon you and your followers.

I would urge believers to read the Old & New Testaments. And not to just rely on the New Testament. Believers must understand all of the scriptures not pieces of them taken out of context. I would also add learn who the early church fathers are. My greatest question led me to the truth. What happened to all the Hebrew/Judaic apostles after they are killed. And why is it the next people we Christians/Believers are pointed to the early church fathers are all Greek/Hellenic? Who are the tares spoken of by Yeusha. How is it ok to remove Yahuahs name from the scriptures and rename Yeshua to Jesus who did all of that?

Something I think this video is missing. What you will find is that those who enter into the kingdom of God will enter through one of 12 gates, for the 12 tribes of Israel. Therefore, the only ones that will enter into the kingdom are going to be Israel. The question is are you part of Israel? Ephesians 2. In Romans 11 tell us that if we have faith in Yeshua then we are grafted into Israel. We are all adopted sons and daughters. We were once gentiles, the other nations, but we are now part of Israel, we are to serve the god of Israel and obey the commandments given to Israel. Many people say that they are not Jewish so a lot of those Old testament things don't apply to them, but God gave those things to the whole nation of Israel, not just to the Jews, Judah. The northern 10 tribes of Israel were divorce from being God's people. Yeshua came. He told us that he came only for the lost tribes of the House of Israel. That was them, the Jewish people were still technically God's people, but he came to bring in the lost sheep from the house of Israel which were formerly divorced. That work began at his first coming and will not come to the full culmination until his second coming. When finally, the Ezekiel prophecy of the two sticks being joined together into one stick Will occur. So don't let Christian leaders and their dispensational philosophy make you seem like you or some other Nation other than God's chosen people. It has nothing to do with your DNA or your bloodline, and has everything to do with your spiritual birth that is in Yeshua our Messiah

When you are saying Jesus has fulfilled the law, its sounding like Jesus has fulfilled the law on our behalf and we dont need to bother about fulfilling the law again meaning we are free to sin, immorality, murder etc since Christ has already fulfilled the law for us so we are free? I'm thinking what that verse means is that: "CHRIST DID NOT ABOLISH OR CANCEL THE LAW rather HE CAME TO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE LAW" thereby FULFILLING WHAT THE LAW SAY not that we should no more obey the law. That is why we have many of us TODAY'S Christian living a LAWLESS SINFUL LIFE since we believe we are no more under the law. This is my view and I may be wrong. Thanks and God bless

Verse 21 is a bit of an A flat minor. I have looked at the ESV, NKJV, NLT, RSV and KJV ( and I am personally not a fan of the KJV) but we read the question" Is the law then against the promises of God? The answer is God Forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law" Looking up the word "forbid" is not as easy as I would like been as my grammatical skills are not the best. But Paul is creating a rhetorical question already knowing God forbids the idea. I asked myself Couldn't Paul simply have stated the following? The law is against the promises of God, because there is no law given that is going to make a person righteous. But of course the problem with saying it that way is because Romans 8:3 tells us the real issue is our flesh. Hence we need new birth, new life and that is not received by law keeping.

24:11 The author of Hebrews 1:5 is, indeed, quoting 2 Samuel chapter 7, specifically 2 Samuel 7:14: “I will be a father to him, and he shall be a son to me. . . .” The problem lies in the second line in 2 Samuel 7:14: “When he commits iniquity, I will punish him with a rod such as mortals use, with blows inflicted by human beings.” 2 Samuel 7:14 full verse: “I will be a father to him, and he shall be a son to me. When he commits iniquity, I will punish him with a rod such as mortals use, with blows inflicted by human beings.” You can lift one line or a few lines, out of context, and create any meaning you desire.
