I've recently read about issues. I read about them after the video was posted. They are disappointing to say the least, especially if the accusations about poor customer service are true. Best I can say is reach out to CGS. If they fail you beyond reason, put that out. I simp for no one. I had no issues with mine, but that is a sample size of one.

I have the sk model (short can) and i recently got the shield plus you can call it the tactical model with the threaded barrel, it ran kinda bad tbh. ive only looked up like 1 forum what could be the issue and they pretty much said that the piston spring it comes with is not that good and to switch it to a griffith one. i did get the griffith spring and swapped it out, it seemed to run a little better and softer on the hands (it honestly felt like shooting a 40 at first), even some ammo that was failing every shot with the original spring started to function much better. keep in mind this is just the first host ive used on the sk and have not yet used the other ones, still got a lot of testing to do lol. oh and the shield plus runs perfect without the can, i dont know if its the super small frame thats the issue and it just needs to get with a bigger host?

I read about similar problems but it seemed the issues were with the FS, no one reported issues with the short can, so you are the first I've heard of. I didn't mention this in the video because I didn't read about it until after. Also, as I said in the video, I had zero issues. I think it comes down to one of two things. The odds of getting a good can vs one with issues. Also, it could be a batch thing. Mine was manufactured years ago so perhaps something with the manufacturing changed for the worse. Additionally, as I stated in the video, these cans are designed for 9mm and specifically on a Glock 19 or 17. That said, mine ran well on everything to include a Glock 17, 34 & 45, SIG P365XL, H&K P30 SKS, "SIG" Flux & a Staccato (can't remember which). I also ran a variety of ammo through it. I hope you get your issues sorted out.
