SEA(south east asia) servers were moved from singapore to china which in my case now i get over 150 ping in all servers which makes it an extreme horrible experience despite the bugs and all the issues the game has now i haver to also deal with such high ping numbers and i am a competitive player for most of my paladins playtime, so you can imagine how this may impact my player experience. it breaks my heart that i am this limited by the game servers after 2 years of game play account level 1130 'sh, nothing saddens me more than watching my favourite game put me in a position where i always am in a disadvantage and i cant play my mains and i have to adapt to the high ping/delay playstyle. a whole region denied from playing the game! , i believe that has contributed a ton in regard to the player base dipping. i personally cant wait to get my hands on overwatch2 just for the sole fact that i can actually play the game on a reasonable ping considering my internet is as high as 250/mbps download and 150/mbps upload speed.

That would decrease dps. I think they should remove the stupid lockouts he has. Lockouts being unable to use abilities during shooting, your rewind projectile not touching anything and whilst using another ability

I love Overwatch and stuff, I was pretty good at it and then I moved and didn’t play for 6 months. I missed it a lot but it wasn’t right when I came back. Paladins to me has a lot more things that give it more character. I bet 1/4 of the Overwatch community would switch to Paladins if they have it a try.

The only thing I miss about overwatch is my Wrecking Ball and role queue. Everything else I prefer paladins.

The only thing that keeps this game alive is the constant release of new heroes and skins. That's why OW is sleeping for almost 2 years because there's literally nothing new. If OW2 gets released, good luck to Paladins

They did some customer survey not too long ago so perhaps they’re going to do a push. I’m afraid it’ll all be skins though, instead of bug/server fixes 😢

From what I have heard a lot of overwatch players don't like overwatch 2 so unless paladins players like it more paladins will probably be fine for now.

WE JUST NEED MARKETING how would we get new players to support the game when no one can ever find the game unless he is looking for a f2p or someone told him about it this is a very bad position for a game to be in. I hope when next patch comes they make ads about the new champion woth the amazing animation i think it will pull some players... And we really need paladins code rewritten...

this is only the ledge that leads to a cliff, with the drop of numbers that means there would be more sweats than casual players lobbies discouraging any new players from sticking around. and sweats facing sweats will make the sweats not enjoy the game because every lobby is comp🤣. rip paladins it had a good run

Perhaps you think it's bad because you don't understand it? Atlas can put 3 people in stasis for 4 seconds, or put 1 person in stasis for 4 seconds then another person in for 8 seconds by casting it twice on the same target. This allows his team to focus the remaining enemies who aren't in stasis by basically taking 2-3 people out of the fight. Alternatively, Atlas can use his ultimate on an enemy who is diving a vulnerable teammate to give them time to escape, regroup, or focus the enemy when they leave stasis. Atlas can also use his ultimate during the last moments of an objective capture to stop the enemies from touching. If Atlas sees a tank making a rush for the point, he can put them in stasis and capture the objective by preventing them from touching. All of this is of course ignoring the other simple hard benefit that his ultimate gives: instant crowd control immunity. His ultimate can be used to counter stuff like Seris's ult by making it so he doesn't get pulled, and he can then proceed to banish the enemies who try to capitalize on those of Atlas's team who did get pulled by the ult. It's actually really useful, it's just circumstantial.

The thing with OW is you need a whole team to win a game almost all the time while in Paladins you can carry hard enough if you're that good. Almost all the time carrying is not enough in OW whether people admit it or not. This is very frustrating if you're a solo player who just want to chill and play. I bet it's because of the 6v6 vs 5v5 experience which OW is changing on its next game. Good luck to Paladins if they don't change something miraculously because that 5v5 change will definitely overthrow Paladins out

I really hope they’re going to do a major overhaul: bug fixes, move it to UE5, better servers. If they do that they can release it as Paladins 2 and it’ll definitely more attention 👍

If the game ran fluently i would've kept playing it. Maybe it partially has to do with my low end pc considering i felt like i had the same bugs as others but 4x as often. I know there's no game like Paladins, but i want to be able to react to bad development aspects. Give some consequence to make them do more quality of life, or (have the game) die trying.

I'm not gonna be playing overwatch 2. Paladins is honestly more enjoyable because there's just more variety I know it's not as polished but it's also the only game I can play with my low end device lol

Since advertising is expensive, the way should be for popular youtubers to play and promote the game. Wargaming do it quite often but I don't know if HR can and want to invest the tariffs

exactly; its getting 7k on steam, but he also isnt talking about the epic games store players on pc as well which is at least another couple thousand, and i believe console players make up the largest % of all paladins players so theres realistically 20k or so online on a typical day

Although even if it's getting 15-20k players a day overall, I feel like that doesn't change the fact that the game is dying. I'd like to see some stats of course but I'd guess the decrease in players are the same in Console as they are in Steam which means that even if it was a number like 30 or 40k it would still be a cumbersome situation for Paladins. Also, if we're talking about avarage players per month I feel like the 15-20k that you gave would be more like 10k-15k which is already borderline problematic for a game that already has troubles with matchmaking. Feel free to explain in further detail

@@terena3806 It’s definitely still dying. But not at the rate he made it out to be. It’s got a decent sized player base that is dwindling. I also forgot about the Microsoft store versions and Xbox app versions which would naturally include more players (not sure if the Xbox app version actually works tho)

If you dont feel comfortable doing more Paladins content and get so little views, the you can just swicth to another content. Some content creatos just upload content of a game just cause they feel like doing so, not caring for the reception. But if you want both enjoy a game and get views, then its ok if you want to move to another game that can achieve both of your goals. If you want to grow as a content creator, then Paladins is not your game, at least not for now.

Was a somewhat loyal player but bugs got worse. First bad MM, then sounds missing, then softlocks and last time black screen softlocks that stay even on restart until the game is finished
