🔥 All great producers borrow from the past. Even if they don’t know it, they were influnced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on these drums. If you listen to Escapade by Janet Jackson you can hear the similarities, which also inspired songs like Fantasy by Mariah.

@@WillyJuniorI never said it didn't sound great, it's more along the lines of 'what's the big deal'? U can literally make a drum/perc combo like that in 2 seconds combining a couple of loops from your sound library or something on splice, and this guy is having an orgasm over it. No joke, I made about 10 combos just like this, with a chord progression and bassline and tossed it out like it was nothing. And I have to come here to watch a dedicated video of this crap including this guy melt over f*K all.
