I'm a big fan of TCS , but this album really feels like a bunch of single packed in an album.

Oh man. 5:35…talk about hindsight there man. Would love to see a review of their newest LP So Far So Good that they made after takin a two year hiatus

I retired from reviews, but the new album is decent! I like that they actually have a clear vision on it, even if that vision isn’t necessarily my thing. My favorite recent release of theirs is definitely the Ship Wrek collab

@@landonfleury awe, that’s unfortunate about the reviews but understandable. Back when they were doin the whole 1 song a month to an album thing you were my go to for their album release reviews. But yeah, as a fan of them, I loved so far so good a lot and I agree with you on their whole vision part there. Appreciate the response:)

I like the way they released these last couple of albums, the monthly releases help the songs grow and create their own "personality", but still being able to be enjoyable in the context of a full album, but more in a Tritonal "U & Me" style and less of a Jax Jones "Snacks" way. That being said, Sick Boy was a super fun, interesting and "experimental" project for them, a really good follow up for MDNO, which has some great standouts IMO. I'm still indifferent towards WWJ, their previously creative style seems to have stagnated on this album, following a safe but really enjoyable EDM/pop mix. Hope to see more diversity in the future.

It's not absolutely terrible, which is one of the biggest achievements the Chainsmokers have made

I really like Push My Luck, and Takeaway is also pretty good. The other tracks weren’t very good or exciting. Unexpectedly, I actually really liked most of the tracks on Sick Boy. I thought that album was really good, but World War Joy has few standouts imo. Might grow on me though.. I agree that if the spend time developing a sound instead of releasing yearly albums they could probably be pretty good.

You sounded so unenthusiastic at the beginning lol. But it’s an okay album.

the first 6 tracks were pretty alright but the back end just felt like unoriginal pop overall i would give it a 3/10 with it being their 2nd best (or 2nd least worst) album behind sick boy since there wasent any offensively bad tracks like MDNO and collage

Imo this album is very pointless. Nothing in this record was super good and nothing was super bad, but the only tracks I actually enjoyed were Do You Mean and Who Do You Love. Still not a fan of a couple of the tracks, especially Takeaway which is quickly becoming one of my least favourite songs of the year. Good review though.
