3:53 I would say there are really only 2 "fake out" drops, since the second half of the songs where it repeats you kinda know it's not going to drop there, so it's not really a fake out. And for 4:10, that is a predrop. And the fake outs kind of work as a buildup, to create tension, to make the drop hit even harder. But to each their own

When this album came out I was a huge metal fan but like most people I was introduced to it from a woman and I'm glad I was. Absolutely love this album, but hearing that it's slightly Christian is like finding out the band you like is composed of a bunch of weirdos.

I’d heavily recommend checking out his newest album, Krang. It’s a dnb album with really good sound design & pacing, easily his best work yet.

For me, as a Singularity fan going back to Soundcloud, I can say that the title track is good, but like I commented on the video itself, needs a bridge or 3rd verse to stretch it out into a real song, cause it's just too short as is. 6/10 Crime is good. I like it as is. Not a lot of complaints. Not my favorite lyrics, but if you take away the lyrics and consider it as an instrumental track, then it's a real banger. Some Singularity stuff is really sappy, like Drowning. Yeesh. So this doesn't hit too different. 6/10 Wings Clipped is the hit for me. I really like the music video, and the glitchy vocal samples are growing on me the more I listen to it. 9/10 Room 101 I don't like. I think it's too mellow. Doesn't get far enough into its stride. It needed a harder, darker interlude in the middle. At least 20 bars. Instead it just shows up, does vocals and piano. Starts to go that way, then wusses out. Ends. Lyrics are not interesting. 2/10 These Roots also doesn't hit the mark. The lyrics are pretty much not compelling. The drop out at the end of each verse breaks up the flow too much. It should build there but decides to just drop you entirely. 3/10. Overall 5/10. BTW. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is going to give this a high rating, go listen to the following playlist first: Singularity - Breathe Singularity - Fracture Singularity - Crave Singularity - Horizon <<<<< THIS MFER OMG Singularity - Fade Compared to this set Chameleon is not on the same level.

6:09: I think Roses is more of an electropop ballad with a bit of future bass influences then an EDM song.

My main problem with him is that the bass sound he uses in a lot of his songs sounds really bad

This is the only album of Daydreamer's available on Spotify, I legit thought it was just an experiment by Porter Robinson! Love it to bits, especially Pages, Skyscrapers, and Travelling Light. Pages is great on its own. Have you heard No Human Code by Uppermost?
