What a gorgeous stream, you're very lucky to have permission to fish it, it's a place most of us can only dream about. Why did you give up so quickly on the roach? fishing for them is much better than chucking a lure out for pike. Don't know what the flow is but I'd not held the bread on the bottom but let it go downstream with the flow and felt for bites. Glad that you were using sensible tackle and hook size. In future could you please show us more shots of the rod tip? Waiting for it to move is much more exciting than pictures of you!! Great video looking forward to seeing more of them.

Hi Tony, thanks for watching, I'm quite a restless soul and just didn't feel it in that swim that day I think a dusk approach would be better. I've been catching some big Chub on lure from that stretch so was easily tempted away and I do love a pike strike in clear water. Noted RE the rod tip. Tight lines
