I am a true fan of the challenges and been watching for over 10 years and you are the only person that has ever told me my list was wack. If the reality forum ucoz was still up you could come debate competitors this is where people that really know competitors debated about them. Brad was a damn good competitor. The fact that Wes beat him in a final speaks volumes about his capabilities. Also, Wes has the most elimination round victories in challenge history including a win against Derek in an extremely physical elimination. You can't deny that Derek was a top competitor. Now I'm not saying Wes is better than CT, but he's definitely proven himself to be at least top 10.

Thanks, Wes has been really dominant when it counts. . Wes is so cocky that when you're that cocky, you can beat everyone and screw up once it gets magnified. I was glad to see Wes become a lot more mellow this season and lay back without pissing people off. Seemed like an easy right to the end for him.

Landon is also 3 for 4 and has 3 challenge wins. He was always in top tier shape and had great endurance for a final

On the gauntlet 2 landon was the 2nd strongest guy on his team and excelled in some of team missions. On duel 2 landon won 5 out 9 missions and dominated that season with a rookie brittni as his partner for some challenges. On fresh meat 2 landon had carley who was pathetic and he still managed 2 win 2 missions. He won one of the last exiles pretty much by himself and did 2 puzzles by himself while carley is dead weight. Landon's perfomance on fm2 was amazing and he gets overlooked a lot.

I watched some of the older challenges and with the exception of Mark Long and Eric Nies, nobody on the show was even close to as prepared for the challenges as they are now. Still maintain that competition was far weaker back then. But the personalities and production value of these shows feels like it was better in the past than it is now.

Another reason is that Wes get's one of the highest, if not the highest pay check of the competitors for even showing up to the challenge. If you get 150k just to be there regardless if you get eliminated first or last, your incentive to compete drops considerably. No training and operating at half his abilities is still better than 90% of the guys on the show. CT has had SO many teammates and has been playing for 10 years. The one challenge he teams up with Wes is the challenge he wins.

Consistentcy is a good basis when it comes to ranking competitors all time. This is one of the first videos I posted on where many people thought my top 10 for the males isn't good when I think its pretty solid overall. Mark Long, ct and landon I think are some of the best to ever be on the challenges. Theo von, dan s, the miz, derrick k, abram were also very solid and well rounded throughout the challenges they been on. Evan and alton were great competitors that suffered downgrades.

The reason why I felt mark is one of the best competitors all time because he was dominant in the old era of the challenges and performed pretty good in the new era( duel 2 and bote's). Mark is a beast and should be in everyones top 10.

In the end, Wes has won way more elimination rounds than anyone and has a phenomenal win loss record in them. Most of the guys you listed haven't even been in half as much elimination rounds or any. Most of the list also won in team finals at the end, especially the older cast. Landon and Evan are the only ones to either carry their teammates or win the whole thing by themselves.

Exactly. All Kenny is good at is aligning with his friends and running long distances. He's as strong as an athletic guy his height and weight should be. The guy sucks at everything else. Wes is not the best at anything in particular but he is one of the most complete players in the games. He carried Kenny the whole challenge. Then Kenny literally carries him for like probably 30 seconds at most, and that's whats remembered.

Battle of the sexes 2 was stacked with so many great male competitors. That was deepest group of strong male competitors to be on one show. Theo von and dan s get overlooked and are underrated they were great on that challenge. That challenge also had mark, frank, derrick, abram, the miz, eric niess, brad, shane and mark. There is less competition on some of the newer challenges where people can cakewalk sometimes make alliances and make it to the end(kenny and evan on the ruins)

Everyone ranks competitors differently. I rank them on overall skill in the missions. Strength, athletic ability, speed, agility also come into play. Being good with puzzles, smart and good elimination rounds is a plus.

The last two spots on my top 10 are tough to put because I changed it so many times I think evan deserves a spot for his performance on fresh meat him and coral were the best team winning 6 missions and would have made it to the final if they didn't get injured. Evan on the duel was his best outperforming wes and brad on the missions and winning more team missions than ct. Evan was also the leader of his team on gauntlet 3 and was dominant that seasons. He was good on the ruins sucked duel 2.

First challenge I started watching was Battle of the Seasons. I remember thinking to myself that me or almost any semi athletic guy could probably go on those shows and beat most of the people. The only guys to impress me on the show in the old cast were Mark Long, CT, Alton, and Landon. My point is that the competition back then sucked. Now they pretty much use Real World to recruit for the challenges. Everyone is bigger, stronger, faster, and train harder for these things.

I think Wes has had to deal with a stronger baseline of competitors since he started. Although I did go back and watch select clips on just Landon and Mark Long on Duel 2, and I will give you that they do look dominant out there even in the new cast and belong above Wes. CT belongs up there too.

Another example of why is stronger than the rest of the guys. On rivals 1 evan,kenny,johnny, and wes all carried a 400 plus pound swan and put it in mandi's bed. Ct carried out the swan by himself. Dude is a beast. Look at ct's legs beastly I bet he can squat or dead lift more than any guy to ever be on the challenge.

I forgot about the WWE champion. He would of obviously fared well today. A good example would be CT. There is an obvious difference between CT in Real World Paris/early challenges to CT post fresh meat. The guy has always been naturally strong and intimidating but he's packing way more mass later on. There's a video on here with TJ and ESPN Grantland where they joked they should take a picture of some of these older competitors when they first appeared on TV to what they look like today

Prepared in what way? Yes the newer competitors train hard I agree. I also think some of the old school players wouldn't last in a final today either. Dan setzler and theo von were in good shape though regardless of what you say. Would they of lasted in a new era tough final like rivals 1 or battle of the exes maybe not. I still think they deserve credit for being great competitors in their era of competition

Frank also showed signs that he is a good athlete, a good swimmer, and good at long distance running. Frank all around is good. I think leroy is good he's just got shitty luck with his partners last 2 challenges. Zach is also pretty solid I was sad I didn't get to see more of zach and trey they were a good team

At no point did I ever say wes was bad. I like wes and I think he has had some good performances on the challenges (fresh meat, the duel, rivals, and rivals 2). Out of 8 challenges he has done he has 4 out of 8 at best where he did good this is why I can't rank him top tier. I base it on overall performance in challenge history

When i rank competitors i don't use politics or political play much when i rank them. I rank my competitors by skill, strength,speed, agility, athletic ability, smarts(puzzle solving skills), endurance, overall skill set, elimination round wins, and finals performances.

I think the miz would of faired pretty well in the new era of competitions he was at his best on inferno 2 ran a decent final. Around inferno 2 and gauntlet 2 the challenges started getting tougher imo. I would consider old era any competitors before fresh meat and new era any competitors after fresh meat.

I think Paul and Sergio just don't understand that most people aren't doing all-time rankings, they're ranking people based on the last 10 or so years. There should be two separate rankings, one for old school players and one for new players. We have no idea how to rank them all together because the old players never played against the new players. Wes makes the top 10 list within the last 10 years, not all time.

even though wes won 5 exiles on fresh meat every exile wes and casey carried less weight even if it was only 20-40 pounds they still had the advantage. And also remember wes ran paszt the puzzles everytime and never completed one. If it wasn't optional to do the puzzle I'm sure they would have lost one of those exiles

I believe evelyn is the best female competitor in challenge history. Emily s is slowly creeping up to her. evelyn has 3 challenge wins, but its her challenge stats that standout. Inferno 3 she performed the best out of any females on that challenge. Helped kenny get a lifeshield, smoked alton and made him dq on the "hook me" mission. On the island evelyn beat tyrie and dan. I know they suck but evelyn is the only female to beat several guys in the faceoffs. She earned that challenge.

wes's duel performance made him top 10 worthy, but he was inconsistent on other challenges fm2, bote's,bots's 2, and he cost him and kenny the final on rivals. remember kenny had to carry wes up the mountain at some point on the final on rivals 1. Wes is solid and is a good competitor and a good athlete for sure. i just think 3 or 4 good performances doesn't put him in my top 10. I'll give you that when wes was on the duel he was a top tier competitor.

See another things some of you been avoiding is no matter what landon is a top tier competitor top 5 all time but people forget about him because he is a low key kind of player and doesn't play a great political game. People forget about abram him and derrick are neck and neck when it comes to the top 10 rankings. The miz, alton,evan, theo von, dan s, and mark are all top 10 worthy

Landon has always been good at these be performed great on all 4 challenges he was on(inferno 2, gauntlet 2, duel 2 and fresh meat 2). More impressive thing about it landon was never a great political player and never backed stabbed people or acted shady to get votes. Landon performed well. Landon is 5-1 in elimination rounds.

I don't think CT would've done the same to Wes. Johnny is like 5'8. Wes and Landon match-up pretty evenly in height and weight, maybe Landon is half an inch taller (before Wes gave up working out). Due to the height leverage, if he could do that to Wes, he'd do that to Landon too.

Theo von performed great 3 out 4 challenges he's been on his only drawback was losing the exile on fresh meat against tina and kenny. Most great competitors have atleast one loss though

The competitons were different back then I guess I just enjoy the older challenges more. I will agree withy you and say I think the newer challenges are much more physical and the finals are much tougher. Of course there would be old school competitors that couldn't handle it. Wes at his peak vs any of these guys at their peak in the weird challenges they make everyone do, Wes would win more often than not. Of course he'd lose to a Eric or Leroy on a pure strength based challenge. There is a huge size difference. But he'd beat them at the rest. The only guy I'd put above Wes would be CT, because CT wants it so bad every time. But at the same time, CT is a mental case so he's not an overall better challenge player. They need a Duel 3 all stars to settle this.

They're all physically capable, but these characters are not really entertaining compared to the past competitors. Wonder how long this show will last if these are the new faces of challenges. But anyway, on overall ability, I'd probably rank it as : Jordan, Leroy, Zach, Frank, CJ, Marlon, Trey. Leroy is strong but haven't seen him prove it in other abilities or else I'd rank him higher. Jordan just seems the most well rounded athletically.

Of course CT is bigger, scarier, and and stronger than Wes. He's bigger, stronger, and scarier than everyone. Wes isn't afraid of CT as a competitor, Wes is afraid of him as a person. CT has mental issues and you don't know when he's going to lose it. That's what Wes meant by scarier.

I do like wes he is a great competitor in his prime but out of the 8 challenges he did he showed weakness and inconsistency in 4 of them. This is a reality TV show, not the olympics lol. They put these people on the show because of the drama they bring, not their athletic prowess. There is no way you can create an accurate list based off any of this. Wes was dominant in the Duel and Fresh Meat because he actually cared. Ever since Rivals, all he cares about is collecting his six figure paycheck for just showing up. He came with absolutely no muscles or training for the last few challenges.

The contestants back in the Real World vs Road Rule Challenge days didn't even train. They looked like regular people. Not until after Fresh Meat did these guys start training hard for these things. If CT was so good he would've won more than one out of so many challenges. If Wes came back and didn't try to be a douchebag and teamed up with his old friends Kenny/Evan at the Ruins, he would have like 5 wins by now.

He is a VERY good player, he has the best elimination record of all time (half of those elimination wins were when he had to deal with Casey, the worst competitor of all time, as his partner too.) He also won the Duel, a challenge where the Mob mentality doesn't affect the outcome nearly as much.

Johnnys true shining moment on the challenge was on battle of the exes where he won without kenny, evan or derrick. And on that challenge him and camila actually dominated that season getting first place 3 times and 2nd twice. Winning the final and the last elimination was key as well.

I disagree landon has proven to be more dominant and a more well rounded competitor than wes. The only edge I give to wes over landon is his political play. Ct would have probably still beaten landon but it would of been tougher. Landon is a beast and would of won 4 out 4 challenges if brad didn't throw his ring in back off on the duel 2. Landon is a great athlete and amazing competitor one of the few guys that plays a straight forward games and let's his actions speak for how great he is.

the first elimination round on rivals 1 blast off kenny and wes vs davis and tyrie kenny dominated that one. wes could have easily overpowered davis and he didn't. i remember watching the podcast with mark long and kenny and mark said he was shocked wes didn't easily overpower davis and he should of. kenny dominated that challenge easily beating tyrie who is atleast 40 or 50 pounds heavier than kenny. so kenny won that one for them and wes won the going up elimination round against brandon

Ct is not great at playing the game and has made a bad mistakes like punching people in the face, not sending eric in on gauntlet 3 and not putting ty and emilly against johnny and camila on bote's. however physically this guy is a beast. he won the life shield on the inferno a decent amount of times and won the life shield for his team on inferno 2 almost everytime beating out derrick and abe. on the duel evan did slightly outperform him, but ct did great on some of the tougher missions.

Ah ok. I got it now. So although Evan won 6 total missions, we don't count the team missions. Which is now 3, the SAME as CT. CT beats Evan, then get's DQ'd against Brad because he's got so much pent up rage from never winning these challenges. Wes beats Brad and wins it all, and some how CT ends up statistically the best player. You're making a mockery of math bro!
