As a gay father who has raised 3 precious children myself, I have so much respect for the love, compassion, kindness and communication they share with each other and their children. I raised my children the same way and they are now all beautiful well adjusted, educated caring young adults. ❤❤

I’ve been following Dustin and Burton for some time, and I’m happy to have now discovered you two. This was a really wonderful, enjoyable interview, that for some reason even made me feel really emotional at times. As a straight cisgender woman, I feel I can learn a lot about the LGBTQ+ community through these videos and your personal stories. I feel we need more of that in this world, to learn, to understand, to fully accept, not just tolerate. Keep up the good work!

I've really enjoyed this. I'm a single gay man of "a certain age". I have two very grown up godchildren whom I adore. I've also fully embraced my role as "guncle" to more. I heard some advice from a Canadian Anglicans priest who is the father of four that I thought was incredible. He said if one sets out to be the perfect parent there is nothing but failure and frustration in your future. The goal is to be an ok parent. Teach your kids what is important. Celebrate your successes. Learn from your failures. Love and respect your spouse. Takes care of yourself.

I'm sorry you did not have children it's hard being a single parent but sometimes even a si goes parent can be a good parent and raise good people. Whether gay, straight or any other family dynamic. As long as you love yourself and those babies ( they are always babies irregardless of age) you will be a good parent.
