The one thing that did not get to work in this upgrade, is the Aux Port. Everything else is fine and as original.

Hi! Really useful video thank you. I am wondering which wire you used to power the amplifier. Did you just connect direct to all 4 battery wires of stereo? Reason I ask because if it is hot, then it will drain the battery when not in use, and it should be linked somehow to the ignition. or did you wire yours somewhere else, I.e. cigarette lighter?

The wiring for upgrade from a 5" Radio into the Euro Model with the 8" CarPlay and Amplifier is a project. The project includes building a wiring harness such that the pins from the old harness are now made suitable to fit into the pins of the new Radio. In addition, during the process you will realise that there is need to build/map new wires to connect to the amplifier as well. You have to build the wire harness by studying the Hyundai Ioniq Forums and connections mentioned therein. You need to purchaser a "used amplifier with the plug pig tail" and build connections from it into your custom harness to be able to link the Amplifier with the Radio and the Speakers on your Car.

^ you have to buy this ^^^harness and modify from it > connections into your amplifier. The mapping of the pins is from diagrams/guidance based on Hyundai Ioniq forums. For the Amplifier, you will need to buy used one with the Pig tail harness and connect the amplifier pigtail with extensions into this Puzu harness. Remember the amplifiers must be Harman Kardon model and NOT JBL bocoz the pin maps/connector for the JBL model amplifier to integrate is different.

Also did you manage to get the reverse camera to work?

Yes. It worked as soon as the harness was plugged in. Did not encounter any problem on that front. The challenge is to build the wiring harness and map all the wires properly as you transition from one type of headunit to a newer model.

I have an issue that when I switch off engine, it doesn’t turn off. I have the IGN1 from B33 to B32 as per maps, but still won’t switch off automatically Or is it something to do with the Battery and Ground? Any ideas?

I do not know. You just need to double check the mapping of pins & all the wires and connections.
