Hi Larry! Started watching your vids since last year, love watching and learning! 😀 Purchased a mini educator last year, love it, but I only used it a handful of times. I need to go through your vids again and refresh and train again with it. Keep up, you're amazing! 😀

I want one of these and I’ll probably end up getting the extender but for those that want as consistent contact as you can get option for now.... get the mini educator. And then order the cpad-011 “winged comfort pad contact” from Amazon or ecollar technologies site directly. Works amazingly on long fur dogs. I kid you not, I was using a level “2” the other day. I’ve never been able to use such low levels. And they don’t change each time you put the collar on. A level 5 one day is almost always a level 5 the next time you put the collar on. Oh and get the bungee strap collar too. Game changer!

This collar looks fantastic, remit looks a bit daunting though, is that the remote you use while training for the newer one? Or do you still attach your normal receiver and remote with it?

I've been watching your videos for awhile and they are great. We have a 7 year Aussie we rescued last year and have trained him pretty well. We set up a pet evaluation and dog training class from a person that uses e-collars and I'm nervous about it. Any advice on what to be asking this trainer? We are wanting to correct smaller issues... He is mostly off leash but if he sees another dog or rabbit he has maybe a 90% recall and other times he runs to the distraction. The other issue is I work from home and there is never any barking but if my wife is home he barks even at car doors.

I love the Feathers . My Collie has such thick fur and it is difficult to get really good contact. I watched all those videos. Thing is I need a fully water proof transmitter and collar. From what I understand they make one but it is even more expensive. Thanks Larry. : )

Ive spoken to michael and bart a couple of times via email Laura and the standard collar is fully waterproof. Im not too sure about the remote but i do know the finger kick is also. May be worth emailing them haha.

@@mattystewart8 The one shown is not waterproof. I mean the transmitter. All collars are. The one I use is fully waterproof with up to 1000 meters . Not that I could ever afford $1,100 . I wish. Not sure about only having 9 levels either. the finger kick is not rechargeable. They do great work but we are not all rich : ) Hope all is going well :)

Made mistake of purchasing a Martin extender collar from their website.. Said it worked with eCollar generator. It doesn't. The switch and charging ports are obstructed when it is mounted making it unusable without removing the probes with every charge. Spent $300 on a collar. Tried to return it to Martin within 14 days, spending $70 to ship it back to Belgium.. It was refused by Martin Systems. They failed to communicated by email or stand by their return policy.

Hi Larry, I really want to get a remote collar for my dog but I have got to have a collar that's actually going to fit my 5 lb dog properly, she's not going to get any bigger and from all the collars that I've tried from the stores so far, even the ones that say for little dogs, they literally fit her neck like a belt even when trying to shorten it as far as it will go. Tell me, will this system fit my toy breed dog?

Im getting an ecollar for my boy for offleash work, I've noticed that a lot of dogs that are ecollar trained seem to have a lot more drive to do what is told fast, do u think the ecollar increases the dogs speed to do what asked?

Service Aussie Look into NePoPo. I believe at a very low level, where the dog barely feels it, you can create an artificial pressure or struggle using low stim. Then once the dog completes the behavior the stim stops and you immediately mark and reward. At least that’s my understanding. If the level is too high they may perform more quickly sometimes but more out of avoidance than out of motivation. There’s a huge difference.

Service Aussie if you pay attention to your dog, sometimes they hesitate or lift a paw which means confusion. From what I see, proper e-collar training helps eliminate confusion and increase confidence

Just purchased this based on your advice and i am returning my ET 300. What levels are you using to train new dogs with this? from my own perception a 1 on this felt like a 6-7 on a mini educator, a 2 felt like a 8-9, and a 3 felt like an 11. I have only been using it on 1 as i am in the conditioning phase following your guide. I am just curious how you have adapted to the fewer number of levels and 'larger' jumps between them. i am using 2x feather contacts.

I just looked on the Martin page, and unless i"m missing something the Chameleon 3 bundle with the collar, remote and finger kicker is 577 Euro which currently is like $630 usd. Still pricey compared to a mini educator, but not nearly as bad as 1100 bucks
