So amazing this farmer gave up pig farming! Compassion finds us all. Animals are innocent and we must fight to everyday to protect, rescue and be their voice. Love and thanks! :) xx

I watched every one of your videos in one day. I was already vegan and came to your video because I was interested in starting my own sanctuary. I was working in a large corporate pet store for years as a dog groomer and have recently quit do to my new views on animal care. Now more then ever I feel this is my true calling. If only I knew how to start. Thank you all for what you do for these animals.

Begin in small increments. We can only set one foot before the other. I feel the same way. I feel overwhelmed often on how much I want to do and how short the steps are available to me. But we can work and move ahead anyway. Patience is the key. The farther you get the faster will your movement be. Eventually you will be able to get grant money which will help you move ahead in larger increments.

I look at them as beings. a different kind than us but beings as much as us. and life here on Earth would be nothing without the beauty & company of animals. I know I wouldn't want to be here without them.

Love this farmer. He's a true human. Empathy is what people use to defend their position that humans are better but then never use it themselves.

Aw, what a beautiful story. :) So glad to see that Bob had this awakening which allowed him to see just how much animals and humans are alike, rather than different. They feel emotions and experience pain, they're social and loving /affectionate. They deserve life just as much as any human. Bless you, Bob. 😘 xx

I can't believe so many animals are killed, tested on, abused... I don't think anybody has a right to eat something they wouldn't kill or hunt themselves. Most people are too oblivious to take notice of the intense suffering that continues to paint this world grey and ugly. I'm grateful for people like the one's in this video - Compassionate and brave for doing what they do.

A fucking book is your basis for the way you live? Religion is bullshit.
@TheRoarWithin
@TheRoarWithin 10 жыл бұрын
Oh, sorry... I misunderstood. The whole religion thing pisses me off. I see videos of serial killers being interviewed years after killing and eating people... and then suddenly, in prison they have all 'found God'. Urghhh. There's so many reasons not to believe there is an almighty man in the Sky, but nobody wants to believe they are really alone and that people can get away with sin. I really want to believe in Karma, but I'm not sure I do. Look at the Daddy-long-legs... what God would bother making such a pointless insect? haha

Stefan Lay As someone who is an atheist, I think religion has its good and bad. It has helped reduce suffering around the world, however they are some malicious practices it condones too. I find the most important thing when it comes to anything is to exercise judgement and critical thinking.

Stefan Lay I agree.. All tho I'm pagan.. If religion was gone wars and everything wouldn't happen.. because, of their so called, god wants them to act and live a certain way. I am a spiritual being that sees myself as a humane human. I love nature and every living thing. Everything has life in it. . Trees, plants, animals etc. (Learn to respect it) I value nature and the animals. My "religion" more.. like way I live my life is with nature. I'm all for doing good deeds. I believe if you bring out good vibes, energy you get them in return. You will do good deeds that make you want to do more good.. The more you give, share, protect, stand up for etc.. you get even more good vibes/energy sent to you. I'm a big karam believe. You send out bad energy you get it in return; you send out good energy you get it in return 3 or 10fold. The more you do the bigger the effect will be.. Everything revolves around doing good and bad. I believe what you give out is what you get back. I see life as sacred, every life is worth living. Well accept people that deserve deathrow. I believe in equality as well.

***** Because it was written back in the day. When they needed to hunt to survive. Now we have oven, frigerator and better technology that allows us to keep fresh food. Between then and now.. is to big different things.

Thank you for your change of Heart. May the God's Blessings be with you for ever. Animals are very intelligent and have feelings same as we do. I hope many more people in this world will come to realize this cannibalism thrown upon voiceless animals is not OK and be Vegans at the end of our journey as well. Thanks again...Lovely story.

Beautiful. The world is changing. Law of Attracting baby. We all need to continue to imagine a world free from animal cruelty and exploitation and really embrace and embody the emotions that come with that vision exercise and then let those positive emotions carry us through the day and the conversations we have with others. Only a certain % of the globe needs to change before a major shift happens. Until then, expect more and more of these "spontaneous" change of hearts.

A lot of them begin to realize that they can no longer look the other way nor distance themselves from the animals. They realize that the animals are living persons, too, conscious, aware beings who observe their surroundings and the people who handle them. Dr. Temple Grandin talks about this as well in her amazing books. She says that particularly pigs have this human awareness, just like what the farmer said. The pigs have human eyes and look at us with intelligent awareness. I am extremely grateful to see that more and more humans are seeing the truth now about consciousness.

What Bob was talking about is a huge problem with factory farming. Animals are not looked at as even animals. They are no more than plants that can be pruned or pulled out by the roots without even a passing thought.

This is an amazing story, very rarely do grown people have such massive changes of heart like this. I haven't eaten any type of pig meat since 2003. Pigs are horrible sources of protein anyway, there's no nutritional value in them whatsoever!

I was watching searching different video and someone commented. "Lions eat meat". That's because God said go ahead. Humans God said vegetables and occasionally meat.... Look at grizzled bears they eat mostly vegetation. It won't kill u to save animals lives....

And other livestock farmers just sell off their animals to concentrate on corn for ethanol or other big cash crop.
