The Chaos Behind Doctor Strange Multiverse Of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was total chaos behind the scenes. Any problem that could possibly have been thrown at them, was. From the director, Scott Derrickson quitting, to the entire script being scrapped, to Covid causing delays which caused subsequent delays, which meant overlap with other Marvel projects like WandaVision and Spider-Man filming, which meant the script had to be changed every time one of these projects contradicted what was already written, which led to six weeks worth of reshoots meant none of the actors knew what was going on, especially Rachel McAdams who was promised she’d get to play three Doctor Palmers and only got to play two. But that’s better than no Doctor Palmers like was promised in the first draft of Doctor Strange 2. Benedict Cumberbatch got to play many versions of himself meaning he got many moments of playing opposite himself which meant he was really just playing all by himself. Elizabeth Olsen got to try some new stunts and was surprised Marvel had it in them to still be innovative when it comes to flying. She also got to play opposite herself and was playing all by herself, but that wasn’t the only time she was alone. She never actually met John Krasinski or Patrick Stewart. Essentially, filming was a logistical nightmare, and yet, the cast still found it to be an enjoyable experience thanks to Sam Raimi’s charming personality and strong vision. Let’s take a peek behind the curtain at the multiverse outside the multiverse, shall we?

I love how scary it is compared to other Marvel movies, there are so many scenes I didn't expect. Honestly, the whole "Wanda's a villain" thing was a big shock as well, but definitely a pleasant one. I actually jumped a few times. Man, I wouldn't mind going to the cinema again, it's such a cool movie.

Kudos to all the staff and the actor-actress of this film, besides they must follow Marvel's rules to not know all the storyline, they also have to deal with covid regulation for filming this film, but they still manage to make this amazing film. I don't know about anyone else but I love this film because the amount of acting detail that the actor-actress must do in this film is amazing, especially Cumberbatch, Olsen, and McAdams. Little bit disappointed because this film looks more like a "Scarlet Witch" film than a "dr. Strange" film, even though I know that Wanda must be shown more powerful than Stephen does, but the film is too concentrated on Scarlet Witch, it made dr. Strange once again become the man behind the curtain, the one who always orchestrated the story but didn't get enough spotlight, the story narration for Defender Strange or Sinister Strange are too short.

That's why the movie has problems such as: - forgetting Wanda heard her kids calling her for help in the end of WV so she could SAVE them - America Chavez is a plot device not a real character with personality - Dr Strange doesnt learn anything because already in NWH Spider-Man showed him, there must be another way to solve a problem without killing. - This memory shop is such a weird thing what brings nothing important to the story - Strange's love interest is strange because we didnt get a proper background - Wanda and her book is controversial but whatever

It's important to look at how older movies, from the 1940's were made, scripts were, have and always will be edited and changed during filming process as actors and other crew such as cinematographers influence the director. Modern fan's don't realise this is a natural process, and i think we get too caught up with this issue. The film Strange MOM is a classic. I really hope the box office goes wild, giving Marvel the confidence to start progressing the stories into adult territory. The audience is growing up with the films, so bravo Sam Raimi. I guess I'm a furry now. Rintra's voice actor was the best part for me. He's so big and fierce yet sounds like Teddy Bear. I'd give my life for that green cow.

I’m kind of into MCU America more than comic book America. I think maybe trimming the sass down and just having her bubbly energy and coolness take center stage was a perfect match for Xochitl.

I think some OG marvel fans don’t like phase 4 because it’s really changing. MoM was such an amazing movie that was so ambitious and gave the light to many characters and is more focused on the side characters than the main. I honestly love it. Stephen is my favorite character in the MCU, but that spotlight to Wanda, Christine, or even America was so good. I loved this movie.

After Loki, And Spiderman No way Home, The movie was not like what everyone has expected to explore the multiverse and introduce more multiversal character. The storyline was also poor after continuing from Wanda Vision. In Wanda Vision , Wanda has realised her fault and corrected her mistakes. And again she she has been portrayed villan in the movie. That's not apt for storyline of a grand Marvel movie. The script has focused on Wanda more than Dr. Strange. Character Development of America Chavez has not done properly, So we are unable to connect as we expected. Marvel should take care of it in future projects. At the end of the movie I was not much overwhelmed and excited as I should be

I try not to read or watch spoiler reviews, and it therefore came as a shock who was the villan. I also was expecting the multi verse issues to be a hangover from the last Spiderman but no it was not. Overall an enjoyable film.
