Wrong. Every awakening done by rimuru cost soul energy equal to 100,000 soul. Rimuru ceil asked 500,000 soul because of that. Berretta rain and misery are still a "named" being it doesn't matter who name them. Cost is same.

@@badridemonking they took 100,000 soul not 10,000. 10,000 is for natural awakening like rimuru, carrion and fray. But artificial awakening that rimuru does take 100,000 if they are named. It doesn't matter who name them or who their masters is. Rain and misery were given 10,000 soul by guy back in time but they didn't awaken. Rimuru give them 100,000 soul to awaken which work. Because name change nature of being they can't take soul energy's from souls to awaken. You have to change property of soul energy little bit according to who you are giving to awaken them. Rimuru give them soul energy's not the soul itself.

I feel bad for Beretta since he has to babysit Ramiris and play the bad cop to Treyni's simp cop. And he gets nothing but trouble and lack of respect in return. Especially in the comic strip at the end of a LN where him and Ramiris are playing the name game and when a "B" comes up Ramiris named 3 things(none were Beretta) and then asked to start naming things that start with "V" instead like Vester or Velzard. Rimuru and Veldora felt bad for him since his own master can't think of his name but can with other beings.

everyone just assumed it was a He (novel and manga) until she was introduced officially in the anime as a she. Although if you look back in the novel, it was hinted she was a SHE because of how rimuru described her face as resembling a female anime character (forgot the name) in his past life. Fuse even had the VA of that anime character to be the VA of Beretta lol Edit: Canonically, beretta is genderless as a Demon. So i guess you can call it whatever you like, also it was Saber from Fate/Stay Night, the anime character beretta resembles behind the mask
