The Chaotic Devil May Cry Mode That You Should Play

Devil May Cry 4 Legendary Dark Knight difficulty basically spawns an insane amount of enemies nearly EVERY encounter. At certain points I couldn't get a grasp of just how many enemies were on the screen due to how crazy the spawn rate is.
P.S. I'm playing DMC 4 Special Edition but I've also heard that this mode is available on the PC version of the base edition of Devil May Cry 4.

I love this mode. You still get to feel like a badass, you can easily string combos together across multiple enemies, you have to REALLY pay attention because there's something is ALWAYS attacking you. So there's a challenge, but at the same time, you're not hammering into the same enemy for 5 minutes straight because everything is in devil trigger and one-hits you.. Feels more lore accurate this way and more fun. Also, it gets STUPID sometimes.

Pro tip with the dice game, whatever number is on top when you hit it is what you'll get. The numbers aren't random, but on a pattern.

You can press DT if the Blitz skewers you to get off of it and the floaty ghost enemies you don’t have to grab, you can slash and shoot too to get rid of their shroud. Charge shots are the best 🙏

Rebeat DMC4SE in a fresh save on this mode, It feels like the definitive way to play the game to me, going back through the other difficulties for the 'chevo's afterwards made so many of the encounters feel small or lackluster, which retroactively 'ruined' certain parts of the games because I was used to like, 40 or 50 enemies. It's a ton of fun, and with how Nero plays, Exceed Streaking through a group of enemies feels absolutely RAW.

YES!!! Just finished my LDK run on DMC5 a few days ago. It was WILD. PS: Officially it is only available in the Special Edition on Next-Gen consoles. Modders brought it to PC. That's where I did it.

7 months late, but at 7:23 you can pop DT to escape that grab. This also works in V where you can escape Empusa Queen and Nobody's grab.

in the end of m8 before you go to the section where you walk to the credo fight the game will spawn 20 to 30 chimera seeds and hitting a lv3 ex streak and the sound it makes is just pure satisfaction.

@@apthegoat1 3/4/5 are definitive edition. 1 is NOT a bad game, it will just feel super dated. However chronologically it does precede 4 (2 is just not super lore important but 1 bit about portals to/from hell kind of is. Also Dante defeats the most dietic of Devils in this game. Just read a plot summary. You can play 1>3 or 3>1. The narrative is consistent enough and will leave you to piece together what happened between 3 and 1.

DMC5 has it on console Special Editions and with the PC mod Spite Edition. It's super fun. Had a friend play it but I made every enemy Fury. She didn't have as good a time with it as I did.
