I read the books after the first season. I also read the prequels fire and blood and a knight of the seven kingdoms.

George comparing Ashara Dayne's eyes to Elizabeth Taylor's Violet (amethyst) Eyes was a clue into the Daynes family tree being Egyptian & Gods (in a sense) & the last of the pharaohs.. also tying into Mummification.. mummys.. mother... and obviously the Amethyst Empress. Elizabeth Taylor played Cleopatra in a movie & Cleopatra claimed to be the Goddess Isis reborn (or of the line) in real history. She wore amethyst & was known to wear an amethyst ring in particular which was linked to Isis.. amethyst being a symbol of or associated with Isis... Great video by the way! 💋
