I saw he was a recognized historian on the Charismatic Movement, citing the beginning of it in 1901 with Parham's congregation. The assumption I drew was that he was anti the "Apostolic Faith Movement" because how would God have allowed something like tongues to have largely fizzled out from mainstream Christianity until 1901... I am so disappointed watching this

They make it seem like only charismatics are spirit-filled. Everyone who repents of his sins, and believes in the once and for all atoning death of Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, will be justified and receive the Spirit as a gift. Thus, all (genuine) Protestants are Spirit filled, not just Charismatics.

Wow this is disappointing. For a historian he doesn't really know much about church history, especially concerning the Roman Catholic religion. And the fact that he uplifts signs and wonders -- apparently without testing them biblically -- and claims them as a source of spiritual growth as equally disappointing. Very very sad.
