In the 90s I constantly listened to The Charlatans, Blur, Suede and Supergrass. I knew no one who knew those bands where I live. I enjoyed and am still enjoying their music today... Greetings from Flanders...

decent, apart from suede, blur and supergrass! these guys are cut from the same cloth as the stone roses and the happy mondays, all good northern/ manchester bands, unlike those art school, posh wankers 😂

Ive just turned 14 and i wish i was born earlier to listen to the great bands of 90s, im not talking about classic 'britpop' with the chart wars between oasis and blur, although they were two great bands. I love bands such as the charlatans, stone roses, happy mondays, the smiths, the la's, the dylans, cast, massive attack, ocean colour scene, saint ettiene, pulp, gene, obviously paul wellet, the chemical brothers and many many others. People of my generation do not seem to connect with it (or they just havent discovered it) and it actually confuses

I was a teenager during the mid-late 90's there was an awful lot of crap music back then as well as banging tunes like this, but just like now, there are some real gems out there, you have to look beyond the usual music channels to find it. There was a reason indie music was/is referred to as thus. I am not going to lie, the 90's/early 2000's was a great time to be a teen.

Ben Chambers I'm 24 so I wasn't a teen in the 90s but the most important thing for me was, and it's still, to listen to the good music, it helps to distinguish you from the crowd. Don't matter your age, be always proud!

How good was the music back then? These guys, Oasis, Blur, Ocean Colour Scene, Kula Shaker, Seahorses, Cast, Shed Seven, Suede, Pulp, Bluetones, Travis, the LA's, Lightning Seeds, Embrace and more...........every single one of these bands would shit all over todays bands/artists. Real, proper music is dead these days. Very few talented musicians/bands around. TV karaoke competitions have ruined music.

'One to another' features the late Rob Collins on keyboards, he died in a car crash shortly after it was recorded. Singer Tim Burgess described the song as the band's 'Love will tear us apart' moment, in that it became their biggest hit and turned out to be their very last recording with Rob Collins.

I still remember watching Oasis at Knebworth '96 when The Charlatans supported them just after Rob had died.. Their helicopter hovered over the arena as Cast played a truly great rendition of Walkaway...

I always told: this song would be a great soundtrack for an Guy Ritchie's film. Playing poker, stealing diamonds, fighting gypsies... perfect match, isn't it?
