Ive just turned 14 and i wish i was born earlier to listen to the great bands of 90s, im not talking about classic 'britpop' with the chart wars between oasis and blur, although they were two great bands. I love bands such as the charlatans, stone roses, happy mondays, the smiths, the la's, the dylans, cast, massive attack, ocean colour scene, saint ettiene, pulp, gene, obviously paul wellet, the chemical brothers and many many others. People of my generation do not seem to connect with it (or they just havent discovered it) and it actually confuses

I was a teenager during the mid-late 90's there was an awful lot of crap music back then as well as banging tunes like this, but just like now, there are some real gems out there, you have to look beyond the usual music channels to find it. There was a reason indie music was/is referred to as thus. I am not going to lie, the 90's/early 2000's was a great time to be a teen.
@rachelepollastrini336 жыл бұрын
Ben Chambers I'm 24 so I wasn't a teen in the 90s but the most important thing for me was, and it's still, to listen to the good music, it helps to distinguish you from the crowd. Don't matter your age, be always proud!

These guys, Oasis, Blur, Ocean Colour Scene, Kula Shaker, Seahorses, Cast, Shed Seven, Suede, Pulp, Bluetones, Travis, the LA's, Lightning Seeds, Embrace and more...........every single one of these bands would shit all over todays bands/artists.
