Charlie, a legend to me ....... this IS how we feel, I'm simple, hard working, and hate the shit going on in this country. And don't ever break in my house, or you WILL be looking down the barrel of my rifle. Not enough people live by this rule .....just a simple life. RIP in peace, more people should be like you!

There was no bullsh*t about Charlie. He is missed but he left a tremendous legacy of music and common sense.

Charlie recently passed away and the world lost a wonderful human being. He was a very generous and religious man but these thoughts were exactly how he felt about the world. He is sorely loved and missed.

Craig, I just made you an honorary hillbilly (👑), for lovin' this, one of the greatest songs ever written/sung!! You seem to hold dear all the same things that we, Southerners, hold dear: God, family, country---and I know you support the military, and are patriotic! Too bad you're not an American---but, y'all, in the U.K., are, probably, our number one ally (even ahead of Canada); so, that'll do!! You should get a Patreon account, for when your vids get banned---you can put them on there; plus, you might make a few coins!!

Along your country music journey, be sure to explore another great “Charlie”; Charlie Pride! Charlie was a multi- Country Music Award, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music, and Grammy award winner. Additionally, he received a Pioneer award and was selected for the Country Music Hall of Fame. In the 1970’s, he was second only to Elvis for albums sold for RCA. His talent sold albums and shattered stereotypes. Some of his best include; Is Anybody Going to San Antone, Roll On Mississippi, Kaw-Liga, and Kiss an Angel Good Morning. He was also featured in the Forever Country video (a brilliant song with numerous CMA hall of fame entertainers.) We lost Mr Pride to COVID last year but his contributions to the genres will never be forgotten. You won’t be disappointed.

I absolutely love Charlie personally and professionally. He was the kindest, most loving man. He was fully dedicated to his wife, family and country. My heart was broken when he passed away. Every day on Twitter he left messages for our country. Giant man!!!

I attended Charlie Daniels Band live in 1974 at the youth expo at the Minnesota State Fair. I remember it was outdoors under a canopy stage in a fenced off area. There was sawdust. Sawdust everywhere and bales of hay. Room for no more than maybe 400 people and it was packed. Lotta fun. ..

I like seeing different people react. To see different points of view and it’s crazy that many people of all colors, views, and countries can agree. You would think that only a southern person would feel this way. I can’t really agree with drug dealing being a death sentence nowadays but if there was heavier fines/sentences, less people would do it because it wouldn’t be worth the risk

He had a lot of great songs. From very serious like this one to outright comedy. For something of his that is kind of in the middle, you might try "The Legend Of Wooley Swamp". Turned an old ghost story into a pretty good song.
