Three young women with mommy and daddy issues. This show had a lot to it.

It always bothered me how they never bothered to ‚study‘ the book of shadows in advance so they could be prepared. They only look up demons and warlocks once they encounter them. I know it would make it difficult for plot purpose of the charmed ones were always already prepared but having the whole book and all the formation already there but not studying it kind of created a loophole. But oh well.

in addition to this, they could learn some spells and also make not very complex potions, so that they would always be at hand in case of danger

Actually, in later seasons, especially once Piper mastered her combustion power, you can clearly see they've improved a lot to the point that low-level or random demons popping into the Manor is an inconvenience, not Book of Shadows worthy. I also recall that Paige (I think) whipped potions far stronger than what they used for the Source through their own skills instead of relying on recipes in the Book, so there's skill development there. Plus I think in the earlier seasons, all of them still ran full time jobs and had lives outside of their career and witchdom. Leaves little time in between to pre-study demonology, so that's my in-universe head cannon.

I think the most baffling thing is how they never really added any spells to the book 😂😂😂 even though every generation did and that s why the book was so big as Melinda noticed. Even when she asked them if they added anything, they were like “What are you talking about lady” 😂😂😂. So different from Penny who was a very skillful and resourceful witch who added info to the book. Truth be told, the charmed ones only saw witchcraft as an obligation , they never fully embraced it.

@@alucinado1021OMG EXACTLY THIS 😭😭😭
@alucinado1021Ай бұрын
@@thefrankmiller5030 I know right? We can see in the entire series that Penny added a lot of spells, so did Patty, but the charmed ones being the most powerful witches ever made 0 contributions to the book, giving basically nothing to future generations. The only one that we actually see writing on the book is Phoebe, the boogey man spell (though this was Penny's) and then about Cole. Then the only time that they actually write on it is in Forever Charmed and it s basically their personal stories, like wtf haha

The ep in where Prue lets go of her grudge with Victor. They would’ve reconciled sooner after 1x03, if he hadn’t bailed on them in the end. Anthony Denison originally played Victor. Until he was dating Shannen, so had to b recast.
@BlackGirlMarvel3 ай бұрын
The reason he was recast was because Brad Kern said Denison gave more of a love interest vibe than father, so they recast him.
