They skipped the part of gypsy custom. Offering things the dead may need for the journey to the afterlife. That custom is actually shared in multi cultures. I used to live in Peru and they used that hundreds of years ago; not anymore these days. As for the Evil Eye 🪬🧿, that’s a gypsy symbol to protect loved ones from evil spirits. Anything of any shapes with an eye 👁 in the middle is that.

I'm sure they did in the episode. I'm from gypsy culture myself. I remember when they explained it and piper made a dry joke about needing a cracker in this life and asked phoebe would it be bad to take one. Phoebe says probably. I'm sure they did talk about it in this episode. I think this scene may have been cut short for KZbin promo. Unless this is what you mean. :-)
