The Chart Show Dance Chart (7th January 1995)

Thanks to CSTV228. Unfortunately as always KZbin has blocked the number 1 song, so I had to edit it, but I did leave the info-boxes in. Worth checking the number 10 video, which has a somewhat psychedelic video to Eternal's song and who would have thought that George Formby and a bunch of puppets would be in the dance charts !!

Jungle rubbing shoulders with Zig and Zag!!! Strike would be back with a vengeance a few months later. It was a surprise to me at the time that Baby D weren't still on the chart.

I get the impression the Eternal track didn't have an official video - in some ways the single itself seemed a bit of an afterthought by their label, given they'd put out five singles from the Always & Forever album already and the album itself was over a year old by that point! The fact it still got into the top 20 over Christmas was probably an achievement in itself. As well as the unusual sights of Zig & Zag and the George Formby impersonator in there, I don't think The Human League ever appeared in another dance chart after this?

@@dee74raz Was thinking about this recently, and the only reason I can imagine is that there was a dance remix of that track doing the rounds. Probably explains a few other random dance chart appearances over the years too.
