The Chart Show Indie Chart (17th December 1994)

Thanks to CSTV228. Unfortunately as I suspect, KZbin has blocked me from uploading the full version of Primal Scream. I had to edit out most of the song, but I did leave the info boxes in. Quick question, Dee. If the ITV Chart Show had a 1994 special, who would win BEST NEW ACT, BEST SOLO ARTIST, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST INDIE VIDEO, WORST VIDEO and in the 10 BEST VIDEOS?

Perhaps Suede, because they were quite high up in the national charts. I wonder who would have been number 1 in the 1994 at the end of the year indie chart, if the chart show had not stopped it after 1992. I suspect a group featuring notorious siblings from Manchester. Hmmm I wonder who that would be !!

@@CShowFan Definitely would have been dominated by Oasis, who would be in the indie charts from July 1994 until January 1995.

@@dee74raz Back then, the award for BEST INDIE VIDEO would go to an Oasis track as they stopped doing specialist charts of the year in 1992. As they introduced the Best Indie Video award in 1993.

Ironic really, as Oasis always said that they weren’t an indie band, and Creation records was sold to Sony music in 1992 by Alan Mcgee! Who continued to run and A&R for the label until he dissolved it at the end of 1999! So a boutique label for Sony not an indie at all in the end?? This is almost cheating isn’t it?!
