Can we get a series of just Devin Cooley talking for like 20 minutes? The guy is a beauty.

Thanks to the folks who put this series together. It was really well done and brings the fans closer to what the coaches and players go through to put together the best team they can.

I have to say this series on training camp was a success. I loved seeing behind the scenes of my favourite team. Congratulations to the team at Flames TV. You all did a good job, and I hope to see more stuff like this!

It's pretty clear that Conroy is only bringing in high character vets. Cooley may only play in the AHL but he seems like a good dude.

Hi quality but also very happy personalities. Could be an effort to make a tough year(s) easier to get through

A lot of scouts think he has a lot of NHL potential too. Late bloomer type. Apparently he never even had a proper goalie coach guiding him til he went pro. Went pro just off of pure unrefined skill.

Devin Cooley is going to be an analyst on ESPN or Sportsnet the minute he retires; it’s almost impossible to find a hockey player with this much personality

Gotta love the Conroy vision for getting Cooley in the team's system. Unreal potential for the guy next season when Vladdy is gone and wolf and him are the pairing. 🔥🔥

It was pain seeing Pelts' body language walking out, but also smiles from Honzo and Klapka was something. Overall though the vibe in the room seems to have changed completely and conny and coaching staffs deserve a huge shout out. These behind the scene contents are awesome please keep them coming

Conny definitely giving 29 to Honzek to remove the bad vibes left by Dube.

It just might, but I think he's just recognizing he's a key player and giving him the number he's worn through his amateur career. He wore 29 playing for the Vancouver Giants and also Team Slovakia.

Are we rebuilding as a franchise or are we just a team that pushes to make the playoffs and hopes that anything can happen. Sick of our franchise being middle pack team. 3 year rebuild with top 5 picks and hope that we draft the Mckenna kid
@Christopher.Colberg3 ай бұрын
agreed although with guys like kadri, coleman, andersson, weegar and as well backlund and huberdeau, we aren't a team like Buffalo or Chicago. I think we could sell off a couple of our guys for picks but keep guys like weegar, backlund, kadri and huberdeau (we'll have to with his contract) that way we aren't just an all out young team that gets beat down for years. we could trade andersson and kuzmenko (maybe mantha and barrie) assuming they have around 45 and 60 point seasons respectively (andersson is also on a great contract till 2026)) and get two first rounders and some extra and as well take in two or so bad contracts for a few seconds and thirds or maybe even a first. I mean adding all that up, you could get minimum 2 and max 4 first rounders plus a couple of seconds or thirds and a prospect or two. we might be bad enough to land mckenna but if not maybe one of our hypothetical multiple first rounders could. also maybe mantha gets huberdeau up to 70 and he's a good fit or andersson wants to stay long term. although with a top dman in weegar who's here for the long haul and young right handed dmen in parekh and brzustewicz that could turn into top 4 right handed dmen, I don't see how it works plus anderssons value is pretty high.

The team is like 31st or 32nd for salary, they're clearly rebuilding but they don't want to have a losing mentality. In general even with bad teams you still want them to compete hard. Also with rebuilding there's a chance of ending up like Buffalo 🙂
