As a 61 year old female, I personally feel watching my body and skin age quite unnerving. The changes to your body/skin as the decades fly by come on thick and fast. It's not so much the vanity aspect that knocks you off kilter, it's the mental head shift to realise that you are naturally slowing down both physically and mentally and entering an era of "old age" that you never really imagined yourself in ( although extremely grateful that you are still here and aware that others didn't make it)....It is my generation and the next that are experiencing thanks to health/diet/medical advancements a longer life span and to help us enjoy these extra years, we need to make ourselves as healthy as we can by diet and exercise - which I very much do as part of my lifestyle- And in my personal opinion ,I feel there is no harm in wanting to look as good as you feel too.. So that saggy neck and gravity eroded parts of my face will be given the same attention as my inner body in a few years....... So, fingers crossed, if I can survive the gloom of the external, global factors going on right now, my retirement lump sum will go towards a face and neck uplift !,,,It's not to look 20 or 30 again but to look as good as an ageing lady can at this stage of life and with that the confidence to embrace it.
