Pro-Tip: When making microwaved eggs, butter the parts of the container where the egg will be cooking. This way they slip right out of their spot and onto your plate. No need to dig them out with a fork. You can also salt and pepper them before you cook them.

I freakin love Daiso. Every item there makes you want to have one. Whenever I'm at a Daiso Japan I would see some things that I really don't need that much but I would still buy them. It's a store that the items tempts you every time you look at them. You can buy those items elsewhere and they might be much better but you would always end up ignoring them, but In Daiso, you would end up buying them. It's not just me, my friends and most people I know are like me, and lot of them are rich enough to buy better items, yet they would still buy them at Daiso.

Just so everyone knows why the soda spilled in the freezer, it’s because liquids expand when freezing, adding to it that the soda was carbonated and there wasnt space in the mickey glove popsicle stick, it created pressure and ‘pop’ the soda leaked out. Also, the reason why the egg exploded was because bacons forgot to add extra water or liquid to the egg so the proteins got dry and sucked out the moisture in the tiny pockets and the outer film of the egg created a similar pressure to the popsicle but reverse, there wasn’t any holes for the steam to leave nor extra moisture to keep the outer layer soft so the steam could break through and release. :D I’m probably explaining it weirdly but i tried lol

@@gabbylopez9091 There's a lot of things you can do to tofu to adjust its taste and texture, but if you ask me it's a bit of a pain to deal with. If you ever get a chance to try tofu in a restaurant, or even storebought tofu that's already baked or marinated or something, I'd say give it a chance. They're a lot better than plain tofu straight from the package. Even the texture can vary wildly. Of course all this advice assumes you want to like tofu. If you don't, no worries, you don't have to eat it. No judgement here.

SIde Note: When filling up a container to make a popsicle NEVER FILL THE CONTAINER UP ALL THE WAY. LIQUID EXPANDS AS IT FREEZES. When liquid water is cooled, it contracts like one would expect until a temperature of approximately 4 degrees Celsius is reached. After that, it expands slightly until it reaches the freezing point, and then when it freezes it expands by approximately 9%. This is why your container leaked out.

Not sure if anyone ever mentioned this but it's a bad idea to freeze things with gas in it because the cold makes the gas expand. In a can it can make the can itself brust. (lol at all the cans 😂) That's why the leak happened, it also made the ice cream more fragile and caused the finger to break and also why the fizz doesn't translate at all to the pop.
@Wolfsschamane
@Wolfsschamane 10 ай бұрын
I know this is an old comment but that's not why the leak happened at all. Sure the gas is at fault for making the bubbles and reducing the structural integrity but gases actually reduce volume when getting colder, it's the water that increases volume when going from liquid to frozen state (this is something unique to water). It would have overflowed even with it being pure water when you fill it to the rim like Bacon did.

4:15 You can add diced tomatoe,onion,ham and shredded cheese to those eggs😁 6:24 those can be used in cookie dough too. 9:25 you can get a block of cheese and make cheese crisps that way if you put in oven . On low heat. 10:46 you can use it as a strainer. 13:56 do that with a potatoe and add skewer and stretch drizzle a lil oil and seasoning and bake in oven 10/15 min. Depending on the heat 350-375.20:57 i think you forgot to add the water🤪

I've always been disappointed by making popsicles out of soda. The liquid somehow separates into a slushy syrupy goo and a rock hard, flavorless icy mass.

Thats the way a real egg should be! Not yellow! The more orange the yolk the more healthy the chicken.

You can eat eggs like that in Singapore and many other countries! No fears of salmonella cause their poultry industry doesn't do shonky things to eggs!

Going through the weird kitchen drawer at my moms house we found an old metal one that my gran had. Works the same I always wondered how my gran made the spiral cut veggies around her jello salad molds. (It was the late 60s they had some weird food styling for their dinner parties)

Some interesting gadgets! btw fizzy drinks are generally not good for home made popsicles. I think due to the gas. That bun looked incredible, Singapore and Asia generally have such amazing food.

Daiso, the _true_ Wonderlando of Japan. It beats the pants off most any USA dollar store, for sure. As always, great video, DB. Love seeing all these cool things you choose to share with us! The scrambled egg/omelette looked delicious, but I'd have to add some cooking time to the poached eggs to firm them up. I love a runny yolk, but not runny egg whites. Is a texture thing, for me. 8:27 W-what is that? Is that a cut-rate mandoline slicer?! I'm impressed that the potato-chip microwave thing worked so well, though! 11:50 The tornado spiral slicer section of this should be labeled Cucumber ASMR. Such a satisfying sound it makes!

@@Toondoubloon i heard they are in some areas. Not one close to me yet but then I live in the boonies in michigan lol. Don't get me wrong I love my home and the area but I do miss living closer to bigger cities and all the easier shopping. Id have to drive 4 hours to get to an ikea! 🤣 But I do live about an hour from Grand Rapids and there are tons of good stores and oh my the great Ethic Grocery stores like Spices of India and Asian Delight groceries. A little farther into GR there is a lively Korean market called Seoul Market that has several Korean grandmas who cook some of the best food ever! And they used to make their own Kimchee but I haven't been over there in a couple years. I usually make a day trip of shopping lol.

The stamps remind me of this Japanese pudding kit I bought that came with something similar. After you cooked the mixture and let it set in the circular mold, you turned it onto a plate and pressed the stamp into the inverted top and poured the brown sugar syrup onto it. It was pretty cute.
