I would suggest covering that board with some peel and stick wallpaper from the dollar store. If you get it wet it will disintegrate and you’ll be able to wipe it off.

A game changer for me in regards to van life is the non slip shelf liners from walmart. I bought a roll and then cut it up and put it in various places and nothing slides around at all. it is nice for when you don’t want to permanently attach anything. My earthquakes have been legendary and nothing on my counter moves just from the non slip mats I have out,. 😊

The ruler is under the pull out drawer on the passenger side. Or at least it was the last time I saw it. And the strapping is called galvanized plumbers tape or hanger iron.

You didn't concave the bottom of the sink. All you have to do is put something in the bottom of the sink and the center of the drain and hit it to where you sink the center downward everything will run to the center then

I just love shopping and supporting our nearby Hanitat for Humanities Restores. There are 6 locations within an hour drive of us, and each has something different. Matthew, may I please make a serious suggestion. You can take an old flathead screwdriver and sharpen the tip to nearly razor sharp and have a pretty good prying tool as well, rather than doing what I did with my pocket knife. Long story short i was carving away a 27% cut with my newly sharpened blade because as good as I am with crown molding, I couldnt use a coping saw worth a flip when I got in a hurry and caused the blade to fold in on me nearly severing my fingers off at the knuckle. It cost me 4 hours of micro surgery, 31 stitches inside my fingers, 20 or so tiny stitches outside and a cast on my hand up to my mid lower arm for 8 weeks. Needless to say my boss was NOT very happy with me. I was taught the proper way to do the cut with my radial arm miter saw to remove the coping out of the corner when I returned to work. A huge error in my judgement nearly cost me my fingers and would have cost me my job if it couldn't be fixed. You can use a rubber bath plug to cover the hole in the floor and seal it with some good construction adhesive

Has Penny ever had boiled chicken breast. I cook a little bit for my cat and he loves it. He acts more like a puppy. Yes, the re-store is great. Bought 2 metal shutters which would be placed on the outside of the house. They were a grey metal. More like a tin material. Cleaned them up, painted them in white acrylic paint and sealed them. They are on each side of the bed. Amazing what you can do with used items etc. They look like 2 wooden shutters. Being creative is the key. Love changing things up using recycled materials etc. If I ever do a van build, already have some great ideas. . I watch Trent the Traveller. I love his van layout. He is selling his van and has purchased a new van to rebuild. Looking forward to seeing the end results. Have you seen his vlogs?

I'd just put 4 gobs of silicon at the four corners of the particle board to hold in place. I think you may need a strip of wood glued to front side and left side so if the microwave wanted to slide off, when driving and turning, the feet would stop it from doing that.

you have that metal strapping in the bus, you could have used it also to secure the flopping vent cover with, instead of the packing tape, instead of going over top the MW you could have used the cover attaching screws on the bottom and used small pieces of the strapping to the wood.

Matthew most microwaves have feet that are designed to screw the microwave in place. I did that when i replaced my microwave in my RV. it's started in place over some rough roads and 18,000 miles.

Haven't seen the metal strap but you could use plumbers tape. Metal straping about an inch wide and has holes about every inch.

Hi Matthew. The live chat Friday night was fun. I got myself a $10 bar sink at my Habitat. It fit perfect in my Ikea pine "TROFAST" cabinet. Underneath width is perfect for two 5-gallon Scepter water jugs (1 fresh and 1 dirty water) Maybe put a piece of Alien tape on the microwave at the bends of the metal strap to snug it up. I will be adding that same microwave to my Promaster before spring. Do you like baked potatoes? Microwave that and add a side salad. Have a great week.
