had mine for 3 mths, no issues. im getting 4.7ltrs per 100kms....build quality is vg. im happy driving it to wk and thats all i want. the dealer gave me extra 3 yr warr so i cant complain. vg review as everything u said is spot on...good to have a review from someone who knows what they are talking about!! well done mate. good wk.

My grandpa passed down his beloved land cruiser to my dad and my dad gave it to me after he upgraded. I gave it to my lil brother before I came here in Australia. I am from Nepal by the way. It’s almost impossible to use safety systems of a car out there because of road and traffic conditions. What i mean to say is You relay on your good driving behaviour and instincts. It should be you who is driving, not the car😊

0stars is fully ridiculous. This car has 6 airbags . the pillars were not deformed. the doors could be opened offhand after crash test. what Ancap focus on are some gaudy functions like ldw , active lane assist, blind spot senser etc. Ancap escalated its criteria at the end of 2023.if the test happened 2022. this car could get 4stars

​​​​​@@zhanhonglu903not true, if you read the report the bodies were subjected to excessive forces including a poor rating for the chest, and the backseat passenger "submarined" (slipped) under the seat belt posing a risk of abdominal injuries. Also the seat belt forces were too high, risking injury. I'm guessing it doesn't have force limiters on the seat belts which are designed to reduce belt forces, or those aren't working well. (Some seat belts also have a stitched portion designed to partially tear and reduce forces in a crash) It has decent side protection. Even if you have airbags, that doesn't guarantee a safe car. Drivers head and neck protection was marginal while passenger was good. My guess is the driver's airbag might be too stiff to absorb energy as it should (in the crash test video, you can see how the airbag doesn't deflate much and the dummy is bounced backwards). And as mentioned seatbelts must be designed to minimize injury. ANCAP also knocked off points for having some dashboard structures that pose injury risk. You are right about losing points for lack of driver assists, which somebody can argue isn't necessary for everybody. And I could believe if this car is safer in many regards compared to much much older cars, before they had side airbags. My guess is MG has to update the airbags to reduce head neck injuries, remove injury-causing dashboard structure, improve design of backseat lap belt, reduce forces of seat belt on chest.

Can I make a call pressing a “ button” on steering wheel to tell Android auto to navigate to an address, and will it use my voice to direct me where to go periodically. I expect this, similarly can I send and amend a text using that button and instruct accordingly, in other words doing this based on my voice instructions. BTW the kerb weight is only 1260 kg.. that’s outstanding

I know someone who owns one and IF I remember correctly they said they got around 10-12km/l for city driving and around 9-10km/l for hell traffic. (MG GT Sport in the 🇵🇭)

Just that ANCAP hasn't got round to it. ANCAP is a business, not a Government agency. Several BMWs don't have an ANCAP rating. Neither does the Mazda CX-3. Yup that's right. Do keep up.
