My skateboard from the 80s costed me 1 dollar i kid you not. I remember it like it was yesterday :) my 1980s Tony Alva board to be exact. I bought it for a dollar at the flee market and skated the crap out of it and it still looks like i havent skated it. Its been since 2011 or 2012 when i bought it :)

So all my life I've been skating on and off. I haven't even learned how to Ollie in my 21 years. But recently I got a skating kick and took to KZbin to find channels that do lots of beginner and for shits and giggles videos. I am so glad that I found you guys. You personify the things I learned about skating. At the park, nobody is above anyone. you could be a beginner in a park full of sponsored pros and you'd be more likely to get tips and advice and actual help than people being dicks and making fun of you. everyone was a noob once and the videos you guys make and the community you've created online and at your local parks solidifies the idea that we are a community and there's nothing to fear about buying a board and hitting up your local park, which was something that caused me anxiety as a kid not wanting to look stupid in front of the kids who knew how to skate. Thanks so much for showing all the positive things of the community. I look forward to seeing more of your videos man! cheers!

Amazing they still sell these boards. I got a similar one with the SAME DUDE POSING but slightly different, and was definitely the same brand cus I recognize the stars. This was a solid 15 years ago, and I doubt the build quality has improved at all

4:13 that's what happened to my last board. It was NOT a Wal-mart board. It was an 8.5 inch board, designed for cruising, which is probably why I couldn't land ANYTHING on it. I broke the truck by popping too many ollies on the cement pad in front of my house. I landed and my feet were not level, but both my feet were on the board. I looked down, and the truck was 15 feet away. Must have broken off when I went up. It just went "whoop" halfway across my yard.
