For those 2WD trucks, I like to use the Slash 4x4 rear driveshafts as an inexpensive upgrade. I put a pair of them in my 2WD Rustler about 2 years ago and they have held up quite nicely. Granted, I use 2s and run on loose dirt but nonetheless, they've worked.

For future reference you do not have to take the bulkhead off to get to the grub screw. Just take the spur gear and slipper clutch off and you'll have room. Makes it so much easier. Your welcome.

Nolan, I stopped buying Traxxas for a while because I couldn’t stop breaking driveshafts. I did buy the revo 2.0 when they first released still have stock drive shafts, love the rc. But I spoke too soon, I bought a granite 3 s and break rear driveshafts every run lol. I got hot racing rears. I have mips on my 4x4 stampede vxl. Just bought a Traxxas mini Erevo vxl. Not over exacerbating, under 30 seconds Broke a drive shaft on flat dusty surface! How!!!!??? I have 4 old school ones that I’ve never broke a stock driveshaft, did notice Traxxas has upgraded shafts. Hmmmm suspicious? That’s kept me away from the slash. Great videos Nolan!!!
@RCKnockout3 жыл бұрын
That’s unfortunate. The stock driveshafts have deterred you from getting a Slash 2wd? Is the Granite the new 4x4 one? 1/16 e revo isn’t the most durable machine I have that’s for sure

@@RCKnockout I have owned a bandit when they introduce the vxl line up, that was durable. It’s just rough when your workin on them more then driving and can’t get a battery pack threw them. But yours seems to be a beast!! Could be operator error? Lol
