Geez, this just gets worse and worse. Those who've played and lost to these cheating pairs over the last ten years or so ( Fisher/Schwartz, Fantoni/Nunes, Balicki/Zmudzinski) must be feeling pretty empty.

I am amazed that the authourites have not instituted the obvious solution - each player in their own closed room with all cards and bids displayed on computer screens, and with the timing of each bid and play of a card held artificially by the system for a fixed amount of time.

+Henry Gasko That is an extreme solution to solve the cheating problem and may take away from the game such that the players do not enjoy it as much.

+Hi Peter, It may seem extreme for those of us playing at the club level, or even the national level. However it is clear these players are not playing the game for enjoyment (otherwise they would not be cheating!) And I think it is the only way to restore the integrity of the game. As many others sports have demonstrated (cycling, soccer, now athletics), once that is gone it takes a very long time to get it back.

I suppose it doesn't need to be a closed room, but I like the digital solution.

Peter, you must know a lot about bridge but please, please cut to the chase. Your videos are so looooonnnng before we get the information. Do you practice what you'll say? do you re-tape videos when you realize you're off target ?
