Haven't heard this since atleast 1994 and been looking for it ever since. So happy I found it tonight

Read on a forum that this is not actually the 'Original mix' from the first few copies of the EP, however the first, rare mix became the live version and thus most well known. They sound like two different tracks.

You're right, this is the original version, which is the one used in Wipeout 2097, albeit with an unedited intro: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYjTg36Qi9ObZsU

@@EricPudalov It's surprisingly worth nowt. Picked up a mint copy in a second hand store in London 2 years ago for 10 quid. Strange.

I agree mate, I have this EP and the 14th Century Sky with the full version of Chemical Beats at Mum and Dad's. Solid gold. I remember my lecturer was a full on metal head when I did my sound engineering degree but appreciated that the Dust/Chemical Brothers could do 'Drums'.......

Sorry but trying not be a wanker Sorry if you do know But they had to change their name due to west coast hip hop producers the dust bros.

Also the reason you liked them more as the dust bros. Is in my tiny mind they were the bollox and on junior boys own! Early shit that they played in the Albany in Great Portland Street LONDON. Xxxxxxxx.

The Weight? Magic Wand? Those are great songs that recreate their old big beat style
@Cut-Short Жыл бұрын
@girlzpower I did listen to the album a few times and magic wand definitely sticks out in a good way despite how short it is. But the rest of the album is a very generic snorefest imo, No Reason? More like no reason to exist. Live Again? More like should have stayed dead.
@verapamil076 жыл бұрын
It is good but not nowhere close to their later work. You hear it is one of their first singles. Edit: I think I was too harsh, it is an amazing track
