I'm trying to decipher the connection between all the Nolan stories. I thought it was aliens as this ties to the frankenstein and Alamo stories. But the Chenoo doesn't fit the alien theme. Yes it's a monster, but didn't give a clue as to its origin. The seneca tribe indicated this has been around..i think hundreds of years, which i believe puts it prior to the Alien Alemo incident. Son I'm wondering if it's a lineage thing. I'd have to read the other stories again to see if there is a common surname. You get any clues?

I really need to go back and reread all of the Nolanverse books in one sitting. One thing is for certain...Graham is creating something special with his interconnected stories.

I read the Chenoo, Alien Alamo, Joe Frank 1&2, and Ghosts all for the first time a couple days ago. I thought The Chenoo has a less obvious connection to the other books. I think a person could get by without reading the Chenoo, but the other books are all necessary reading to be up to speed of this full story. Trying not to be spoiler-y, I think the guy that shows up at the end of the Chenoo works for, and is funded by the group we meet at the end of Ghosts. I just re-read the end of Ghosts, and the guy says they study "Monsters, the supernatural things that go bump in the night. Dangerous things." I guess they don't only deal with aliens. Ghosts was my favorite Nolan-verse book yet, which I think is a testament to Graham's storytelling and world-building.

As much as I enjoy the stories from CG, I don't remember much of the detail. Between CyberFrog, Wraith of God, Graveyard Shift, Inglorious Rex, the Nolanverse, perfect 10, Fiendish.. oh wow.. so many to name.. remembering all that detail is impossible. So I started creating a summary of all the stories as I read them so I can identify when me characters come in, their origin, locations and detail stuff like that. This means I have to re-read most of the older stuff. Good thing I'm still in the catchup phase, so they is plenty that will be the first read and can get the summary service. But Nolan's stuff is one that I'm caught up on (save Ghost, which I plan to read this week) so I have to revisit Joe Frankenstein and Alien Alamo. Maybe then I can find more threads. But like you said, the Chenoo appears divergent.. even though its after the Alamo, which i believe is the beginning of all these events.

@@AV8R_SurgeYeah I hear you. I've only been around CG for about a year and a half, so most of the campaigns I've backed I get catch-up tiers, so I'm reading a lot all together. If I do get a new book in a series I've bought from in the past, I usually re-read (or at least skim over) the old books first to refresh my memory. I don't have much money to back a lot, but have backed most of the Kings books. My favorite CG books so far are Wraith of God 1&2. Art and story sooo good! Have fun reading Ghosts, it's great and foretells great things for the Nolan-verse, imo.
